He's worked alongside some of the biggest names in fashion, whether it's in London, Paris or Hong Kong. He is well respected for his work and is considered by many as one of the best hairstylists in Malaysia. Well, Andy sure knows how to work his magic! Not only did he style my hair, he also did my make up! He made everything look so effortless and almost playful...

Ok I know I'm gonna sound extremely big headed by saying this, but WOW! That man gave me woo-hooo-hooo cheekbones and GEEZ have you seen those lips ??? He said all he did was merely emphasise on what I already had, ...and I replied, " You mean like my eyes, nose, cheeks and lips?? " If this was "merely emphasising", can you imagine what it would be like if he was " totally emphasising " ? I seriously think make up artists and hairstyists are like magicians. And I am more than happy to be the prop they use to perform their magic on.

An impromptu trip to HK for multiple reasons, the main one being that I think Admin Teddy desperately needed a bath (he was turning grey-ish) and no one was doing ANYTHING, so how could I not kidnap AnD for a night so Teddy could go bubble up in the tub, then hit the sauna?

TTL is a photography term which means "Through The Lens". It's something that my very close friend (a wonderful photographer ;p) & I came up with. This is our first "official" shoot, with me as the Creative Director/Model/Photographer's Assistant, and my friend as, of course, the photographer ;)

I named it "Vogue Noir" because we didn't want to do a shoot like every other shoot, we wanted it to be edgy, quirky, emotional, random, dark.....but yet each set still has it's own little story to tell. We had sooooooooo many ideas, one day just wasn't enough! And we also had to improvise to sudden changes, delays, etc etc... But we had fun though! And I liked the results too

Hope there'll be more from TTL, stay tuned guys!!!

Elvanna (汪芷榆) was born and raised in London, UK. As a teenager she relocated to Taiwan with her family, and also studied in Singapore for a few years. She started her career in the entertainment industry when she was only 15, by winning the MTV Asia VJ Search in Taipei, and since then she has been hosting TV shows, modeling, acting, designing, and even writing.

Even with her hectic schedule, she still managed to find the time to focus on her studies, and graduated from King's College, London, UK, walking away with a degree in Psychology and Law. During the time she was studying, she also managed to put her studies to work, and was a legal representative and interpreter for the British Immigration & Home Office, also participating in various cross country debates and seminars for her Psychology degree. Amazingly, even after all that studying, she wanted more! She proceeded to further her studies in psychology, focusing on psychosis research,the impact of anti-psychotic medicines, and schizophrenia. After that, she took up fashion designing. And got her degree too. What a geek! ;)

Now, Elvanna has relocated to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since her arrival in KL, she has been the hot topic in town, her unique appearance and background, added to the contrast of her many artistic tattoos... It's bound to get her some attention!

Since her sudden arrival, she has been catching attention. She has graced the runway, her face is seen regularly on the covers of magazines, she emcees various events and functions, and participates in charity events whenever she is able to. She was first featured in FHM Malaysia's September 2008 issue, then Men's Health November 2008, and since then, Nu You Magazine, Newtide, NewMan, Shape, CLIVE, Female...etc. Now she's seen regularly on TV as well, starting with her first SK-II TVC, then NTV7's hit sitcom "Mr Siao's Mandarin Class", and soon she'll be hitting the big screens too. Her ultimate passion is acting, so I'm sure we will definitely be seeing a lot more of Elvanna Raine!
