  • Ping Pong Playa opens LA Asian Pacific film festival on May 1st

    Hi Everyone

    If you are going to be in LA on May 1st, please come and support Ping Pong Playa.
    This is Jessica Yu's (Oscar winning documentary director) feature directorial debut. Jimmy Tsai, who is the star ( as C Dub) of the film, is both the writer and lead actor . This is also his debut as a writer and actor - what a power house collaboration! This movie tackles themes about rites of passage, following one's dream versus familial obligation and Asian American identity -  a guaranteed a fun ride.     I've heard about Ping Pong Playa, I hope it comes to a UK festival so I get to see it. I very much respect people who take dual tasks on in films.

    I wanted to go to this but looks like there are some things we need to do here around that time so most likely can't make it.  =(
