Introduction
Sneasons of Liz presents an exciting opportunity for a sponsor to get exposure to the theater-going crowds in Prague and Edinburgh and to help keep cabaret a thriving art form. Featuring actor and singer Liz Merendino, Sneasons of Liz will be performed at the Prague Fringe Festival in May 2011 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2011.
About the Show
"Sneasons of Liz" is an insane cabaret that celebrates two exasperating conditions - love and hay fever! Half the world has allergies and it doesn’t have to be spring to bring them on. Liz Merendino hacks and wheezes her way around the globe, falls in and out of romance in seven languages, and finds she really only needs three things in life: her passport, her ventalin, piriton and a box of Kleenex. Directed by Tony Taylor and Rick Lau with music by Warren Wills and additional material by Fascinating Aida’s Adele Anderson, this little treasure of a show is not to be sneezed at. It is a thematically unique show that has a continuous through story with specially commissioned works, a very unique combination.

Liz Merendino, a classically trained singer from New York, has given several recitals including works by Brahms, Ravel and Poulenc. Her true loves are jazz and musical theater. Liz has performed with many theater groups in New York, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong and recently had a sell out run of her one-woman showSeasons of Liz during the Hong Kong Fringe Club City Festival. Liz was working as a primary/secondary music teacher in the international school system for the past nine years and has now opened her own company, Overture Limited, a music education consultancy firm. For Liz, sharing her story through cabaret for audiences around the world is truly a dream come true.
