  • Champions (Duo Biao) Trailer

    Champions is Olympics themed wushu movie Tsui Siu Ming prepared a decade or so ago. However, he only waited till this year to shoot the film to coincide with China's hosting of Olympics this year. And it's almost 2 decades since he directed any films. The cast includes Dicky Cheung, Priscilla Wong Tsui Yu, Debbie Goh and 15 martial artists including Xie Miao, Xu Xiang Dong, Yu Rong Guang etc. Opening in theatres in November.

    The martial arts sequences look interesting, with various traditional forms used.

  • Legendary Assassin Trailer

    The much awaited Legendary Assassin trailer was shown at Hundred Flowers Film Festival and is now available on Sina.

    Filming has already been completed and the film is scheduled for November release. Directed by Wu Jing and Nicky Li, starring Wu Jing, Celina Jade, Kou Zhan Wen, Alex Fong, Jiang Bao Cheng, etc.

    A bit too much reliance on wires but the visuals are top-notch. The opening part in the trailer showing Wu Jing perched silently on a tree in the dark imparts a menacing and mysterious presence - just like a wolf. Celina Jade looks stunning too.

    Wu Jing is expected to be working with director Jeff Lau next.

  • Li Yuan Hunting Xie Miao In Legend of Shaolin Kungfu 2

    More awesomeness from Legend of Shaolin Kungfu 2. This footage was shot on digital video camera with the help of a female makeup artist and edited by both Li Yuan and Xie Miao. A very professional job at capturing the scene as well as in editing. And none of them are professionals in these professions of cinematography and editing. (This is not the actual production footage; it's done by the trio - the makeup artist, martial arts actors Li Yuan and Xie Miao - to share with us a thrilling scene from the upcoming TV series.)
