This is my review of 2010 (and beginning 2011):After several setbacks throughout 2010, my short film that I wrote and directed, BEHIND LIFE about a married couple in an uncertain future, is back in post-production. I should have a new rough draft prior to February and hopefully submitted (and accepted) at a couple of film festivals of my choice. Unfortunately, I am going to miss the second extended deadline of the 2011 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
As one of the co-executive producers as well as an actor in the feature film, VIOLENT BLUE, we will have our U.S. theatrical premiere at the Culver Plaza Theatres on Friday, January, 7, 2011 at 7:00pm (red carpet at 6:30pm). VIOLENT BLUE stars Silvia Suvadova (Academy Award winning, "Kolya"), Jesse Hlubik ("I Know You Killed Her," "May"), Barry O'Rourke ("Mad Cowgirl"), Andrea Harrison (model-turned-actress; "True Blood," "Greek"), Garret Sato ("Hawaii Five-O," "Only The Brave") and Nick Mancuso ("Under Siege," "Rapid Fire"). If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area, come by and support by purchasing advance tickets at http://violentblue.eventbrite.com/See you there!
That is all I can say now. There are a couple of other projects I've done but will announce them here when they get close to completion.
Wishing all of my fans, friends and supporters here a Happy, Safe & Prosperous 2011.
Regards, EdwinA. Santos
