    We don't know what is ahead of us
    All we can do is hope.
    Hope that the pain will be
    Lighter on our journey
    Hope that the dog is fed at home.
    Hope that the nurse
    Will remember the IV drip
    Hope that the soccer team 
    Will win this time round.
    Hope that the colours
    Won't get mixed up in the laundry
    Hope that the lights
    Will turn green soon.
    Hope that we can
    Wake up again tomorrow
    And do it all over again.
