From San Fran we went to Hawaii Film Festival.  Unfortunately, Justin had to leave early due to work for FAST FURIOUS 4.  Roger and I carried on; tough job, but someone had to do it.  To be honest, we were exhausted from San Fran, and was on auto-pilot most of the time.  The cool thing is we met up with the guys from alivenotdead.com.  Daniel, Andrew, Conroy, Jack and company ... cool guys who have been big supporters of GAME.

The alivenotdead crew -- after party.

Superstar Daniel Wu -- love the jacket! What a nice guy.
Roger and I went to speak at McKinney High School where The Rock graduated.  The kids were great, but they must have wonder what was wrong with Roger and I when we carried on about how challenging it is to be Asian-Americans in the media.  95% of the kids was Asians!!!  Our friend Daniel Day Kim did say that if you are an Asian American, Hawaii is the place to live.

Next stop, last night's LA premiere.  Great turn out.  The cast and crew were all there.  It was good seeing everyone on home court.  We were all very touched by the support.  If you know the Nuart Theater, you'd know how hard it is to find parking around there.  Yet, they came.  And they cheered.  Both shows were sold out.  The folks at myspace.com threw us a party at Shag on Highland.  And a good time was had by all, even grumpy old me.  I even got my best friend Vincent to come out!!  The guy never goes anywhere.

    Vincent -- in the middle -- camera-shy.

Sung -- thinking "I gotta piss!"

    My Angela.

Hi.  Great job with both FTG and The Rebel.  How long did the cast train for The Rebel?

Hope you'll stop by Hawaii again.  Take care.  =)

It really sounded and looked like it went great for you all, and the sell-out shows, you can't get any better.
I hope Vincent had a fun night out. I love the last picture of you and Angela, true beauty, sweet photo

Thanks, Dustin, for being such a cool cat and staying after the midweek screening of "The Rebel" (Mr. Nguyen's martial arts in this film is UBERRIFIC!!!!, can't 'spain it any further; his character's near bulletproof as well!) to answer questions.

Was so cool to see him sporting the "We are not some $#!77% little local band" black t-shirt from the Heavenly Kings camp.  Right on, man!

Nice to see you're on TFAF4 -- good luck with that!

Hope you make it back to the Hawaii IIFestival again.  This year's offerings was quite exceptional.

    Aloha and CHEEEE-HOOOOO, bruddah!

Dustin, looks like a great time. In my article, I misquoted Troy Poon just a little...oops...and I realized it and sent the corrected quote to the editor, but it was too late. Please don't be mad! You know how much I loved your performance. Best, Elena

Hey Dustin -- it was a pleasure meeting up with you in Hawaii. Hopefully now that the road tour for the movie has finally ended in LA you can finally get some rest. Great job again on "The Rebel" and I look forward to seeing you  directorial debut. Let us know if there's anyway AnD can continue to lend a hand.
