  • Yau Char Gwei !!

    Tuesday, Jan 20, 2009 9:20PM / Standard Entry

Its been a really hectic couple of weeks which was unexpected due to the krappy economy. I have been working on a bunch of tracks. One night last week, I worked till quite late and as per usual the later I work, the worse I tend to sleep, as soon as I woke up I started to think about work.Which is really annoying when all you want to do is get back to sleep. Anyhow, I saw this program in TV awhile back about this guy who used to make some 4000 yau char gwei (chinese fried dough stick) in one night. They roughly went through the process so I decided at 630am that I should make some fried dough sticks.

The first one was thin by mistake and it turned out the best and most crunchy.

I got them all looking like the real thing but I didn't put enough salt in the dough..

The taste was actually quite good until you leave it out for 15mins then it turns a bit soggy.

Just got home from watching a play written by Crystal Kwok. Terence was the only male part in this play and he plays a penis... yes a PENIS. I actually helped out on this production with the music and sound and I had seen the play during rehearsals over a month ago so it was really great to see it come together. Marsha was great as was the other 2 ladies who are not yet on AnD. Terence was just totally natural as a penis, perfectly casted. Tomorrow is the last night so make sure you go see Terence's penis... I mean as a penis...

  • Singapore break..

    Sunday, Jan 4, 2009 8:02PM / Standard Entry

Went down to Singapore with my family sometime before Christmas for a few days. It was mostly a trip for my son. We took him to butterfly park, night safari, and a whole bunch of other kid friendly stuff. It was nice to get away for a few days.
Took my son to the songs of the sea show. Quite impressive for a family show..
I got a chance to ride a segway thingy. Its pretty cool, get the hang of it very quickly. I would love to have one but unfortunately its not road legal in HK.
My wife made me do this... hundreds of little fish feed off your dead skin... feels very weird.
Apparently this show sells foreskins... Singaporean are strange...
Meet the Dolphins show and a er.... peacock .....
