I scribbled a few things today, and surprisingly doodled a few ideas and sketches. I think my problem is that when I am given a sheet of paper, I unconsciously expect myself to make a finished drawing each time...though I know that is not always the case.

    Brainstorming is good.

I didn't really know what I was drawing when I first started out with this picture above, but it gradually turned into two painters. They were commissioned to paint interior walls, but instead they got drunk and did a crap job. The guy says: "Pure excellence." I don't know why I would draw two drunk painters, but it's more interesting that just two guys sitting, which is what it started out as.

This guy has cool shoes with springs on the bottom and wings on the side, so he can jump extra high. The pose is kind of cute...so....I posted it. I have nothing else better to do anyways. His left leg is too long, but whatever.

This last drawing is actually something I finished today. I started out trying to draw for some art contest I found in a magazine about breast cancer, but my mind trailed towards something more....uh....disturbing....

heh...I sketched this twice to get the pose right, then drew it again on a large sheet of bristol paper twice because I placed the eye badly the first time and couldn't change it (I did it all in pen.) I know, the anatomy is not very good. I'm not that great with anatomy.

The art contest asked me to depict the concept of "Privacy" and showed a T-Shirt on the ad that said "I WANT MORE PRIVACY" in big letters (privacywear.com). Somehow, that concept of privacy and "I WANT MORE PRIVACY" inspired me to do this. Maybe that's what this woman's saying...?

I don't think this kind of thing is what the contest is looking for ahah. The way I interpret this, it describes more about women in society than breast cancer. Plus, it's kind of creepy.

It's weird, I can't really put into words the message I'm trying to convey here. It's like at the tip of my tongue, but every time I try to reason it out I'm missing something. Then again, I've never really been an articulate person.

What's also weird is that while I'm perfectly fine with drawing creepy things, I can't get myself to watch a single scary movie.

I've been drawing relatively simplistic things lately. I find it more relaxing, actually.

Based on observations from some very smart scientists, along with the great teachings of Al Gore, here is the a VERY scientific diagram showing the effects of global warming upon the existence of human civilization and the WORLD.

    THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH:

I don't know what the hell that thing in the middle of all the buildings is. I guess I was attempting to draw the space needle in seattle or something but it just looks like a hut on bendy stilts...with a face. but that's besides the point.

Do you believe that the world in going to end in 2012? I was at Barnes and Nobles some days ago and saw this book that was entirely dedicated to proving that the world will end in 2012. The Mayans predicted it would end in 2012. They also predicted that white people will take over their society, and look at what has happened.

I figure that if the world really does end in 2012, at least I will have a college degree. Or get close to one. haha. I don't really know what to believe though. I'll just try not to psyche myself out too much...I worry too much already.

This next drawing is really sad. Sorry the resolution and color are so bad, I still don't have a scanner. Anyways, this boy confesses to this girl, but the girl is a huge bitch and rejects him by making her dog pee on his heart, which is already covered in stitches from previous rejections. I guess it's kind of hard to see...

    ;____;

I used copics for these, though I only could choose from light colors because I have the figure drawing set which consists of mostly skin tones. it was a pretty stupid move for me to buy the figure drawing set, but at least I never have to confuse myself with which skin tone marker to buy. that's always pretty frustrating.

BTW If anyone's interested, particularly digital artists, I'm selling a 9x12in wacom intuos3 usb pen tablet on ebay. the item number is 260266127217

I'm also selling some shoes if you are interested in that too.
