The fam bam is out performing (Hula) at a show and I’m home alone retooling my budget for my latest project (Rooks) starring D.Y. Sao. I’ve already had a nice healthy dinner and for some strange reason, I’m craving the special number 2, spicy ramen noodles from Orochon (LA). Ok, to put things in perspective, the project (Rooks) I’m working on takes place in the Dotomburi District of Osaka, Japan. I’ve been doing months of research on the lifestyle and culture. I’m listening to several J-Pop, and Japanese hip hop artist and I’ve surround myself with some interesting reading material about the new era of the Yakuza. Is my craving for the spicy noodles because of my research or the simple fact that I’m hungry? I must admit, I have eaten at Orochon (LA) on several occasions and love the spicy noodles. Do I have this craving because I’ve immersed myself into the culture? Either way, I can’t wait to eat those spicy noodles again.

I have it on good authority that when we're hungry, humans generally crave hot noodles in spicy soup. ;D

these noodles really look yummy! Hmm, food is definitely a part of your research, because it belongs to the culture. so enjoy it  - maybe they just cook good stuff ?^^

But man now I'm starving and it's like 2am.

It's an interesting theory, and quite possible. Once you immerse yourself in another culture for film study you can take on some traits.

Does it matter?  The soup looks great whatever brought you to craving it.  Much better that than a double bacon cheese burger.  If you had been working on Supersize Me, you'd be buying new clothes and taking lipitor. :-)
