This past summer I was resident DJ at De Tulp one of the most popular Beach Cafe's in San Antonio Ibiza. In addition to that I hosted my own radio program "Fresca Sol" on Ibiza Sonica Radio 95.2 FM. It was an amazing summer!!

In 2005 and 2006 I spent the summer on tour in Ibiza Spain. While I was there I decided to photograph the beautiful doors of Eivissa or Ibiza Town the main city on the Island and entitle the project Las Puertas or The Doors. This project is a work in progress and I plan to continue the series when I return in the summer of 2009. Stay tuned!

AIDS Healthcare Foundation benefited from proceeds received at the Grand Opening of Pupe @ New York, New York (4th store of New York Speed) on June 1, 6:00 pm at 7363 Melrose Avenue. Hosted by James Wilder and the cast of American Gladiator (ABC), the opening featured a fashion show which previewed the store's hottest new pieces. Celebrities in attendance included Chris Judd, James Wilder, Colleen Shannon, John Lovitz, and many more! Complimentary sushi and cocktails were served. Music was provided by Los Angeles' own DJ Gabriel Diggs.

This past January I spent a spectacular week in Florianopolis Brazil! My brother Taye, our friends, actors Jay & Adam Harrington, their cousin Tim and I stayed in the lush town of Praia Mole and spent the week taking in the beautiful beaches, sites and sounds of Florianopolis. I was also fortunate to perform at Confraria Das Artes a hip nightclub, gallery and restaurant located in Lagoa Da Conceicao, Florianopolis. From birth I was always taught to embrace the arts. I come from a big family and my mother and father were always pushing me to challenge myself whether it was on stage acting, singing, dancing, and performing with musical ensembles, or in the classroom, learning, growing and expanding my mind. I feel truly blessed that they were so open minded and enthusiastic. I began my DJ career after taking a trip to study abroad in London, England. That summer abroad really changed my life. It was London’s diverse music scene and energized nightlife that inspired me to become a professional dj and a producer of electronic music.

After college I moved to New York to further pursue my dj career and that's when my journey picked up in earnest. My brother Taye offered me a job as his personal assistant and after several interviews in a city as tough as New York it was hard to say no. I decided to take the job and before I could catch my breath we were off to Berlin, Germany to work on a feature film. Berlin is such a beautiful and diverse city. I bought some of my first vinyls in the great record shops there and met some really amazing people, some of whom I now consider life long friends. When production wrapped on the film we headed to Los Angeles where my brother was scheduled to work. The feel and pace of Los Angeles, not to mention the weather, suited me much better than the frigid winters, and the hustle and bustle of Manhattan so after I finished working for my brother I decided to stay.

Los Angeles has really become my home and I've had much success and countless opportinuties to challenge every facet of my creativity. I've worked as a DJ on Ships sailing the beautiful waters off the coast of Alaska, Mexico and the Virgin Islands. I've had the chance to volunteer at KCRW a highly respected radio station that promotes new and progressive artists. I've also had the opportunity to delve into the world of cinema and television something Los Angeles is exceptional for. Right now I'm hard at work producing progressive and thought provoking music which will be out soon on my label Delve Recordings and I've also released some great mix CD's which are available at some of the best shops in LA. I consider myself extremely fortunate and I plan to continue to work hard every day to further elevate myself and those around me and to earn the many blessings that continue to come my way.
