86 pictures / 478 viewsThis is a collections of pictures taken by many of my friends during the occasion of the cremation of my late teacher Ven. Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda Nayaka Maha Thera, the late Chief High Priest of Malaysia and Singapore who had passed away on 31st August 2006. This is a Sri Lanka tradition of a cremation for a high ranking monk. This even was held from 31st August 2006 until 3rd September 2006 in Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The cremation took place at the Nirvana Memorial Park, Malaysia.
