  Random Art Workshop Ushers in
  Pioneering and Unique Creative Art Community
  
  [HONG KONG, May 26, 2009] Random Art Workshop (RAW) today announced the launch of its pioneering and unique creative art workshop in Hong Kong for art and design lovers seeking a common space truly for art appreciation and creation.
  
  Officially opened on May 22, 2009, the workshop features a 1,350 square-foot modern space equipped with quality materials needed for mixed-media creative work, professional art instructors, pantry as well as a large LCD Screen with entertainment systems. The comfortable space is optimized to the individual needs of users with their own artistic pursuit, bringing creativity back in their daily lives. “RAW aspires to build a community that will inspire individuals to create and share, rather than take and consume, and support each other to explore and discover,” said Ms. Joyce Yung, founder and Creative Director of Random Art Workshop.
  
  Located in Causeway Bay, the busy city-center of Hong Kong Island, RAW innovatively complements the area’s lack of creative space but abundance of food, shopping and entertainment premises. Mr. Derek Ting, founder and Creative Director of Random Art Workshop, said, “The pace in Hong Kong is fast, so people can conveniently take a class or workshop, eat, and run errands in the same neighborhood.”
  
  In celebration of the opening of the workshop, RAW presented a cocktail reception on May 22 for its friends and prestigious potential customers, and an exclusive preview of the workshops, classes and art pieces available at RAW. All the guests were pleasantly surprised with the experience to create a unique congratulatory card with their own design style – These cards would be permanently displayed at the workshop to mark its memorable opening night. The occasion also highlighted the fact that the premise could be a perfect choice for intimate, private or corporate events and parties.
  
  Ms. Yung added, “In this challenging economy, it has actually become more and more crucial for people to find themselves and meet their inner needs. We think there is no better way than arts and creativity to achieve that.”
  
  RAW’s workshops cover creative and leisure arts such as collage and assemblage, scrapbooking, card making, jewelry making, Bling Bling (bedazzling your accessories with crystals); while its classes cover a span of traditional and digital arts including a variety of photography classes.  Mr. Ting said, “It is our belief that all people are creative. Our workshops and classes are journeys of self discovery, and our professional and creative staff are guides to inspire participants on the path of creativity.”
  
  Also a part of its unique concept, Random Art Workshop encourages local designers to leverage this space as a lab for developing and nurturing new products and ideas. It actively links up freelance graphic and digital arts designers looking for work in the area of product design, digital production, and art.
