    hi one and all,

    happy new year and fab festive wishes-thank you for ALL the well wishes while I was on location filming. I guess this would be the right time to reveal my new show 'Passage to Malaysia' on Discovery Travel and Living. It's everything I've always wanted to do and the timing couldn't have come at a better time. Malaysia is just one the most stunning places in the world. I have to admit I had never seen Malaysia really properly. As a Singaporean, you tend to do the typical tourist thing: the hop, skip and bounce over the border short trip holly. Shop and makan, makan and shop- And that in so many ways, isolates us from our fundamental roots. I always knew that my Chinese side had migrated to different parts of Malaysia to find a better life, but i never really knew the extent of their journey. And in so many ways, this is my journey that I've been waiting for. Stick with me, and I'll update along the ride. Wish me luck:)

    Good luck Denise! Ohh, I'm a fan of Anthony Bourdain's: No Reservation so I'm hoping there'll be some food segment on your new program. Toodles and take care babe. =)

    Yeah, Malaysia and Indonesia are probably some of the most beautiful places on the planet. I really need to explore them properly myself some day
