  • Looking for Hong Kong based Producers interested in making a short film.

    Wednesday, Feb 27, 2008 5:37PM / Standard Entry

My name is James Croke, an independent filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia.
I have written a short film, ’RUG’, set in Hong Kong and would very much like to produce, crew, cast and shoot it in Hong Kong.

I am looking for a HK based Producer who would be interested in working just such a film. I am also open to other expressions of interest from other crew disciplines.

Brief Synopsis: ‘RUG’ is a black comedy based on a true story of a paranoid drug addict who suffers an overdose. He is thrown into Hong Kong harbour by his friends who believe him to be dead. Shocked and amazed he emerges from the harbour the following day. Realising it was in-fact his friends who threw him into the harbour he is ultimately surprised to find that his paranoia was not completely unfounded.

    Approx running time: 15min

If you are interested and would like to find out more, or would like to read a copy of the scrīpt, please contact me at james@deceptionworks.com
