"TETRO"

In 2007, Francis Ford Coppola, one of my all-time favorite filmmakers, returned to the director's chair for the first time in ten years with his adaptation of Mircea Eliade's novella, "Youth Without Youth."  The film was a personal one for Coppola, who saw it as a meditation on time and consciousness, two themes he's explored before in his incredible body of work.

Interestingly, Coppola shot the film on a Sony HDC-F900 in High Definition and edited it on Final Cut Pro.  And, although the critical reception wa...Read more

NEW DOS EQUIS AD CAMPAIGN (AKA "THE MOST INTERESTING MAN IN THE WORLD")

It appears that the spies in my midst have been working not for various foreign intelligence agencies as previously thought but rather for the top brass at Dos Equis.  Not only that, they also appear to have been following me and my movements closely for the past few years and, now, quite brazenly, have launched a new ad campaign inspired by yours truly.  My friends, I give you "The Most Interesting Man in the World."  Please enjoy while I plot my revenge...

"OPERATION BABYLIFT: THE LOST CHILDREN OF VIETNAM"

About a week and a half ago, I drove from New Orleans up to Dallas on business regarding a project that I’ve been developing off and on for a couple of years now.  I enjoy coming to Dallas because I went to college here and a good number of my old college buddies still remain.  Therefore, it’s always fun to get together for drinks, catch up on each other’s lives, and, if the mood catches us right, go streaking across the old campus in our birthday suits.  The hardest part of returning to Dallas is ...Read more
