Keep it real or keep it to yourself....
Darren E. Scott July 29th, 2008
I don't know where I'm goin
but I sure know where I've been
hanging on the promises in songs of yesterday.
An' I've made up my mind, I ain't wasting no more time
but here I go again, here I go again.
(whitesnake)
And I will live today, And I will live tomorrow
No matter what is said and done, even if it's going wrong

Testimonials:
“These past two days working with Jeanne Hartman was a wonderful experience. When you have the tools Jeanne gave us, it will definitely make you more confident when attacking a difficult scene or even an audition.” Andrew Lin
“JEANNE! YOU ROCK! Jeannie's teaching was so accurate, this class has given me lots of answers to my questions for so long in my acting career. This was a very important lesson for me, it's shown me the right mindset on acting and script acknowledgement and so much. I'm so excited about my next film project which will start shooting in a week, I think I'll do so much better!” Josie Ho
“It was a great time experimenting as well as watching my other classmates work as well. It's kind of like a good personal training session at the gym for actors. It's not often that actors in Hong Kong get a chance to attend things like these. Even if you aren't thinking about being a professional actor this workshop can help you with other things like public speaking and boosting your confidence and it's a whole lot of fun too!” Daniel Wu
“I am really happy I took part in this course and would recommend this course to anyone who is interested to learn more about acting. Jeanne is a wonderful teacher and it is obvious to me that she teaches acting in a way that empowers you to have more confidence in the choice you make for your performance. There are not many good acting teachers in Hong Kong, and to be able to work with a coach of Jeanne's caliber in Hong Kong is a rare opportunity.” Terence Yin
“I am still feeling the BUZZ from the acting workshop taught by master acting coach Jeanne Hartman. Jeanne was knowledgeable, incredibly insightful and inspirational. She made us realise that we all have our unique styles and there are always ways to look at a scene differently and things we can do to OWN the scene and make it OURS with certain 'tools' and 'secrets'. THANK YOU so MUCH Jeanne, for being so amazingly supportive and so willing to show us what is possible in each of us as actors. I will always treasure this class and the inspiration it has given me. I will take what I have learnt and power it into my future works. Only wish you had more time in HK to keep coaching us!!!” Grace Huang
“Thank you Jeanne !!!! You know you're amazing don't you? That you have some special powers to give people SECRETS we don't even know we have.” Race Wong
“Whether you have already had some acting training or none at all, Jeanne will teach you fundamental principles upon which to build a solid technique. I had such a fabulous time working on scenes with all my fellow actors. It was such a great learning experience to have my work critiqued by Jeanne "in the open" and given "trial and error" to approach the scene with different points of view, aspect, emotion, purpose, finding the potholes, methods and the "secret".” Rosanne Wong
“Jeanne helped me re-discover myself ! Life is all about acting.....acting is living....” Jun Kung

He pursued his training through out his highschool and college/post college years and became a Canadian National Champion in both forms and point sparring. His first taste of the film industry was working on the 1995 Feature Film "The Hunted" where he played a ninja along side the stuntmen. From that day on he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in film. After returning from living in Japan for one year(having acquired a fair bit of the Japanese language) he did just that. He has had extensive acting/coaching through the great likes of Andrew McIlroy and Bill Macdonald. Darren decided to seek more accessible opportunities elsewhere and moved to asia in late spring of 2007 where just after a few months he landed his first hosting job for a Business Travel Show for Channel News Asia. He currently resides in Hong Kong where he is studying Mandarin and Cantonese.
