Naruto

So lately I've been watching Naruto on the net.

I was buying the uncut DVD boxed sets that have been coming out in order to watch the show, but there's just too many months in between them. I didn't feel like waiting to see what happened next.

Starting with the second round of the Chuunin exam I watched all the way up to episode 136. Which is where the fillers start. Then I skipped straight to Shippuden.

Man, its really a great show. I like most of the characters and the story is good. Though I've started to notice, especially in Shippuden, that the show is coming down with more and more of the Dragonball Z syndrome.

By that I mean the loooong drawn out talking before and in between fighting and taking forever to get something accomplished. I noticed it earlier in Naruto but then it seemed to get better pretty much until the end. Now it seems to have fallen back into the DBZ pattern.

After I get caught up on Shippuden I'll get up to speed on Bleach which is also one of my favorite animes.
