for some reason, i’ve been hearing/reading a lot about this:

fish are about to become extinct

so now, some people are arguing that we should stop eating fish in order to keep them from becoming extinct. but i don’t get it. i mean, what’s the point in saving the fish if we’re not gonna eat them?

bloods and crips

I went to check out this spot called Gyeongbokgung Palace where the emperor used cool out back in the day. nightlife and clubs and all that is fun, but this is the shit that i’m digging. i’m sure it’s the equivalent to going to the empire state building or some tourist trap like that, but fuck it, you can’t find this in Brooklyn. I’m feelin it.

I’m actually in Hong Kong right now for a shoot. landed here on tuesday, started shooting on wednesday, and i shoot right on up til tuesday when i leave. all i can say is, i have no idea how i survived living here last summer. this city is fun and it’s been great to see all my friends, but the weather here is super ignorant. and take note if you’re planning on passing through Hong Kong, do not stay at this hotel. the whole fucking place is a lie. there’s no (real) park anywhere in the vacinity. and it’s not where the address says it is (it’s not in Central. at all). i ordered room service the other day and found out that they have food but no beverages. the hot water lasts about 45 seconds… and then, it doesn’t actually run out… it just becomes scolding hot. i’ve never heard of a shower running out of COLD water before. the concierge acts annoyed if you ask for something. the room service dude knocked on my door at around 11pm and when i didn’t answer, he used his key to come in… to replensih my $6 bag of almonds that i ate like a dumb jerk. why was he doing this at 11pm? like, the guests get pissed if they don’t have their almonds and m&m’s in stock before going to bed?

i guess i shouldn’t complain so much. there are starving kids in north korea who don’t even have $6 bags of almonds to be replenished at 11pm.
