Human Right and Common Sense? (Not a politically debate)

Human Right or Common Sense? (Not a politically debate)
Has anyone give any thought to the human right issue? What the hell is it? Who set this standard up?
This politically correct word has been ringing around for quite sometime. The first I got to know it was some 30 or so years ago, as I was still at school at the time. I remember that when we being naughty, our corporal punishment then was detention, canning or a slap around the ear lug. Discipline amongst all children were great, as even the police was able to do similar to what our teachers do in our school, and our society then was nice and calm.
Then it suddenly it all got changed, as after England joined the European Community and all hell broke loose. I clearly remember when the human right act was introduced and no corporal punishment was allowed at school, all the kids were almost suddenly lost all respect for teachers. In the street, police lost their dignity as a tiger loosing its teeth.
(One of my most respected history teacher subsequently was so disappointed and disillusioned with the behaviour’s of the children at the time, end up committed suicide a couple of years I left school, as that was what he told me on my last visit to him.)
Did I favour corporal punishment, I believe it was better with it then without, as the human race at present is not spiritually advanced enough to self govern. But in my opinion, it is far better than human right, which took the common sense out of the society. We are now having literally do things by black and white, laws that has been drafted to the best intentions (I hope) to iron out abuse of power. In all the best of means, there are no way rules can replace our common sense.
Everything has a flip side, and nothing ever is just black or white, negative and positive. There are all the grey in between the two extreme ends, how is it possible that any can be drafted against that.
The result is now lots of people believe the human right is good and are jumping on the bandwagon to bash countries that supposedly have a ‘bad’ record. They all wanted to be seen to be ‘politically correct’, but without looking into this issue seriously.
The biggest trouble is the very people or country that drafted these laws, are also very much contradicts on all their arms and human right policies. They supply arms for others to fight, they only help countries that belief in their political views, or if their country has resources which they in turn can pillage in return for their help.
How can ‘Human Right’ law be effective when it is run with people or country that has a double standard?
No mention of different country, race or culture needs a different approach or believe, because each have their own history that are so deeply ingrained in their minds, it will take a long time to change.
Never mind that this ‘IMPOSED’ ‘RIGHT’ is only right for people who thinks their belief is the standard set for the rest of the humanity. Anyone or everyone who disagree with their view is ‘WRONG’.
I am not debating a political issue, but a spiritual one, what I’m saying here is to ask for love and patience, understanding and compassion between our differences. It is not one ideal against another, east against west, or one belief against another.
I’m asking for us all to ask questions about what we read (including what I write here), and give it time to think about its origin and its truest meaning or agenda behind them before we make a decision or judgement.
The world is in constant conflict and war is because our minds are not open enough, we all been thinking too selfishly for our own belief, race or creed, plus very few people were told that we are all responsible for the mess the world we are in today.
It is all too easy to look at anything with a simple face value and not go any deeper before making even a comment. We are all responsible for everything we do and action we make or take.
So for our own sake, please take time and go through all that we learn and when we get told what is ‘RIGHT’ and ‘WRONG’, exercise our minds and give it a good going through before we make drastic decisions or actions. As in the very end, we are all end up at the receiving end.
Earth is the our only HOME, so we must treat it will utmost love and respect.

Question regarding religion and believes
Wednesday, Apr 9, 2008 12:49PM / Members only
Questions and answers (in my own opinion) This blog is a product of an interesting questions by my friends here, hope it is of an interesting read for all you who come across it.
Hi Queenie/Gogi,
A very interesting question from both of you, this indicates that most people have questioned the same in one time or another. A question that will have millions of different answers depending on ones believe and stand point.
I was Baptist as a Christian since I was a month old, then I left the Church when I was 12, as I was disillusioned and dissatisfied that the Church cannot answer my the questions I had at the time. This mainly where do we go after our physical death, I do mean in details, not some made up stories of heaven and hell. (This brought out another question is why I didn’t accept what was given to me, in terms of the Churches doctrine? While others will take it as fact, I think this is either I have such a inquisitive mind that I need to know everything that I’m seriously interested in, or what I hear or learn did not resonate with the truth that lodges deep inside each one of us)
I then taken up Spiritualism (very strong movement in northern part of Europe) since I was around 14, followed by Buddhism after I’ve learned all there is to learn but still feel something lacking, which Buddhism offered and that is Karma. Later I also found in modern science as the basic physical law, which is action and reaction is always opposite and equal. This holds true for both the physical and metaphysical.
Having done meditation for about 10 years, plus under the guidance of a great master, I finally one day come to a realisation that I can go on my own without any ‘walking aid’. Metaphorically speaking, this is why some of us needing a religion, as we either mentally not ready or because of the teachings from our society that we are not able to self help, and that we need help of others, but either way, we will mature in our own time.
I am certain that had I got the affinity and time, I would have also learnt from Islam and other religions. This also refers to my martial art training where I picked up the most useful bit from many styles to suit my body and my mind.
We shouldn’t be limiting ourselves of one or two fixed ideas, or anything for that matter, this will free our minds and discriminate ourselves thus turn out to discriminate others because our behaviour is a reflection of our internal mental world.
In the end, I have come to realise that we shouldn’t be so biased to think that one form, one religion, one race or believe is better than others. They all contain messages and information that will aid our growth, may it be in the physical or mental form.
Specifically to Queenie, to your question regarding whether I go as a speaker for church or a temple, the answer is that there are many guises for a ‘light worker’. Some people will need certain messages according to their level of spiritual understanding, so being a priest or a monk will suit those people for their development. While lots of people will turn away as soon as they see or hear any form of organisation or religion. What I do is no different but to appeal to those who find what I say resonates what is within them, to remind and remind the reason what and why we’re here. I have been expressing my views with people and friends when I was a part of temples I used to go, and have participate in group discussions after practice, just like what I’m doing now, but standing in front of hundreds or thousands of people? No, and I don’t think that I the idea to preach or ram my ideals and believes down peoples throat. Free will do mean we all wake up in our own time and we decides what and which way we turn, what I offer here is one of many different paths to the same end, but it is still down to each one of us to choose.
Reply to Gogi’s question as to why so many people getting it so wrong in our religion? In my opinion this problem arise from the lower negative self, which I mentioned many time in my blogs, is that we are the total of everything that there is. In another word, we are the god and the devil (lots of people wouldn’t not accept this), we contain within our soul all of the positivity and negativity. Since we have been given free will, we can and we do choose the path and action we take, only in time and from painful experiences over time (I mean lifetimes of reincarnation), that we will one day learn and are able to remind ourselves of the wrongful doings plus the repercussions of our action that we will use our free will once more, to do and to act without any incrimination against ourselves.
The world is in the mess it is, is because our inclination of our negative and lower animal nature, although we are scientific and technologically advance, but our spirituality is still very much at infancy. We see that others are wrong and we are right, we see that our opinion and ideal will suit others, our standard must be the one to go by, etc etc. We will then impose this on others who don’t share the same view, or to suppress them to submission. I can go on and on with thousands of examples but it all end up to the same conclusion. We need time to grow, and the mature ones is waiting with love and patience for the ones about to wake up or willing to grow.
We need to go deeper back in to our positive and higher spiritual self in order to learn and bring back a balance to address all of our negative issues. This goes back to the same old question of free will and spiritual maturity, we cannot and should not force the issue, as we (all people of this world and universe) will only wake up in our own time.

Free will

Too many people asked this same question day after day, year after year. If there were a god, why would he do something to alleviate our suffering and pain? Worst still, some people don’t even believe there is a god, that we only live this one single life, there are no purpose in life. That we are simply a product of an accident, once we die of a physical death, everything will end.
Lots of people think it is all right to fight, and to compete to gain their material and wealth, after all this world is only meant for the fittest and the strongest, or for the most ruthless. No laws except the law of chaos, we even get a pat on the back when we made to the top of our social ladder. Disregard to whatever the method we use, or how many people we may have trodden to get there.
What is missing from all that we have learned from our education system, and our world or society in general?
It is to recognise and to admit our spiritual existence, all our major institution only talks of our physical law, business, marketing, logistics, or anything that we could to make our institutions bigger and larger, that there should be growth month after month, year after year. Because of our un-satisfiable nature, that we must hoard more than we could ever use, so many people now have more money they could ever need.
In the eye of the Great Spirit (God or our higher consciousness or whatever term it make sense to you), this is known as FREE WILL.
To denied our spiritual existence would cause pain and suffering not only to others, but also to ourselves ultimately. Many would like to think that we could escape from the consequences of our actions; we cannot alter the Law, what we sown we must reap.
What we must know is that we are part of the Great Spirit, that we will survive our physical death of body and we will live forever, long after that those decayed and crumble material we spend our lifetime of energy to gather.
The reason that we can do what we like and what we want is in fact, the act of our own free will. One thing to remember before exercise our free will is to respect the Law of the universe; this is the Law of Karma.
Here is a simplified version.
What goes up must come down (the physical law) and what go round comes round (the metaphysical law).
Whilst free will is a gift, but when not used properly then we have to pay the price also. I have now come to the realisation and I am making full use of my own free will, is because I too have suffered my own actions in many of my previous lifetimes.
On the question of suffering
Every experience is part of your life, or you wouldn’t be the person you are now. You may wonder why you have to endure what you have suffered; you are confused, as you do not feel that you have done anything wrong to deserve it (at least in this lifetime).
In the great universe where harmony is the Law, each one of us contributes to the great plan. What you didn’t know is that this is a divine thread that runs through all your past and present lives. All the events in our lives, sometimes of bitterness and despair, of pain and misery, all play their part in preparing us gradually for the path that is being trodden.
The darkness and the light, the shadow and the sunshine, are all but reflections of the whole. Without shadow there could be no light and without light there could be no shadow. The difficulties of life are steps that enable the soul to rise.
When we having to conquer obstacles, handicaps and trials in our life, we become stronger, more purified, deepened in intensity and more highly evolved. Do you think that we could have learned without pain, sorrow or misery? Of course not.
We will have joy and laughter once we become fully aware of our lives purposes, all the suffering and all that we endure is nothing but to aid our spiritual growth.
Just like a baby or a toddler learning to walk, we will have to learn from our falling, is that not so for our spiritual growth too?
Instead of blaming others for our misfortunes, we should humbly to accept that this is nothing but time to repay our wrongful actions from our past (because of our own free will), as nothing will happen to us if it was not meant to be.
One thing we must remember is that we are part of God, so that we are all Gods in the making. We do possess all the strength and power to face all the trials in life; there is nothing too great for us to bear.

Great secret of life
Monday, Mar 24, 2008 5:21AM / Members only
You have the greatest riches within yourselves. You are part of the Great Spirit. There are no riches or fortunes in your world that can be compared with that. We seek to teach you to explore your own gold mines, to reveal the diamonds of the spirit that are within the clay of your own natures.
May you all learn to respond to vibrations of the highest planes of spirit. May you all realize that you are never alone, but always encompassed around and about by a host of those who love you, who seek to guard and guide you and to help and inspire you.
You can all banish from your minds the thought that anything that is unenlightened or, as you would say, evil – can ever touch you. If there is no evil in your hearts, then only good can reach you, for only good can dwell where goodness reigns.
The laws of the universe are operated by a power, which is love and wisdom.
You need have no fears. Perfect love cast out fear. Knowledge dispels fear, for fear is born of ignorance. Where there is love and trust and knowledge, there fear cannot reign. An evolved spirit cannot be afraid at any time, because he knows there are no experiences that can come to him in any phase of life that he cannot master, for he is the Great Spirit.
Fear creates its own prison for the soul. You must learn to rise above fear and not to allow it vibrations to hinder you, to have perfect faith and confidence and trust, to know that you can stand on you feet and say: “I am the Great Spirit and the wind of circumstance cannot shake me. I will rise triumphant over every difficulty because of the infinite power which is within my soul”.
You have power over every circumstance. Would you limit the power of the infinite soul?
If you children of matter would but remember that not only are you human, but also divine, how much easier would it be for you to live your lives.
