• Maybe working on a small indie movie in Feb.

  I got a text the other day about a small indie movie shooting in Chicago in Feb.  I am going to try out for a spot as an electronics store manager.  I have some real world experience with that working for several electronics stores in Chicago and most recently for The Seiyuu's USA branch.  If it fails I'll still try to get on as a extra during that scene or another.  I'm excited for it's possibly my 1st film for 2009.  Wish me luck!!
  
  
  Also excited for the release of Eagle Eye on DVD this week and the debut of The Beast starring  Patrick Swayze  on 1/15/09 on the A&E cable network. Hopefully my scene in the bar fight made it in there!

• Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!!!

  Hey everyone!!   Sorry I don't have alot of time to say hi to everyone individually, but I hope everyone had a safe and merry X-mas holiday.
  
  I'm still without a carso my internet time is limited.  Hopefully I'll have one up and running by New Year's Eve and then I can find a kick ass NYE party in Chicago to go to!!!

• Crashed!!!

  Hey everyone!!   Sorry I haven't been around much lately or been able to respond to messages and my guestbook.  I had a car accident a few weeks back.  Fortunately, my friend and his his gf were not injured and neither was the person driving the other vehicle.  I'm ok physically, just some aches and pains in my arms and neck.  I am lucky I got hit where I did on the car cause it could have been much much worse.  I'll beback sometime when I can straighten some things out and get a car again. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving day holiday and if I am not back by Christmas, hope eveyone has an awesome Christmas.

• The Dark Knight Deleted Scenes Part 2

  Here is some more on deleted or changed scenes from The Dark Knight.

   

  One of the days I was downtown Chicago for my costume fiiting in the police uniform.  I stumbled upon them filming a scene by the IBM building.  It was supposedly a scene involving the mayor having a dead Batman hanging outside the window of his office.  They used a dummy for most of it of course.

  

  Notice he doesn't have any facepint on it the pic.

  

   

  Now the part that is weird.  When they did the close ups with the actor painted up, he actually had a knife stuck in him with the Joker's card.

  

  And when you see the movie........

  

  Its pinned to his hockey pads.  Probably due to ratings and violence issues.  The film was already pushing the boundries of PG-13 and thats what Warner Bros. wanted was a PG-13 Batman film.  I love how the card says WILL THE REAL BATMAN PLEASE STAND UP!

   

  Another scene they filmed but was missing was after the Joker crashed the Dent fundraiser and threw Rachael out the window, he had a brief scene with his goons in the car.  In one version of the script and novel the dialogue went something like this:

  Goon: They didn't get Dent so the trip was a total loss

  Joker: Not really.  We discovered something important, Batman's weakness.  He cares too much for the innocent.  And we can use that to our advantage.

  The next big scene I worked a 2-day gig on was the big hospial scene in the movie.  I found out a few days earlier in the movie that in the story the Joker blows it up!!    I was (no pun intended) blown away by the stuff the story allowed the Joker to do.

   

  I arrived early on day one and instead of playing a cop that day I was going to be a simple hospital patient and I would have to run from the building all day.  It was good I got it cause the cops for that day did not do anything except for a few.  We had to look paniced and scared and run from the building.  In the make up tent they made me look sick and gave a small green oxygen tank in which I had to carry around all day.  Due to the pacing, it doesn't look like any scenes I was in that day made it in.

   

  The crew was really cool.  They let us stand far away in a safe zone and watch the building blow up.  I know one guy said he was gonna record it on his phone and I think the top video is it.  Its from right where I was standing.

   

  The next day I was promoted to bomb squad in many scenes.
