Yes, I'm in Singapore. I never volunteered to host because I know I'm not a very sociable person though I do care about people. I hope you have a good trip and really rejoy yourself. Don't let anyone frightens you. Not everyone get quarantined. Even if you do, in Singapore they sent you to a resort to be quarantin so that you can be equally happy if not satisfied.

You really should place your focus on enjoying yourself and experiencing the different culture. Asia has much to offer if you look at it from that perspective. I have been travelling to foreign land quite a fair bits and many times, I totally do not speak their language and they do not speak mine... I use alot of sign language but that's absolutely alright as long as a get a good grip of the currency exchange rates and don't buy anything on impulse and watch the signboards and symbols for special facilities like toilet, exit etc etc, and if they are new to you just recognise them. They will be used throughout in the same country... Enjoy your trip. You will love Singapore and you will love most of Asia. I await to hear your interesting encounters on your journey. Wear a mask on board the airplan as the air circulation is so bad virus get transmitted quite easily. You don't want to end up being quarantined in a foreign country as the virus has just sort of slipped into Asia.
