    Since I just came back from Beijing and Shenzhen promoting Blood Brothers, I might as well drop a plug on you all. So here it is...Blood Brothers in theater's soon! Wednesday we're heading to Taipei, then back to HK for the premiere on the 21st. It was nice to see the whole cast again after all this time. Although it was a tough shoot for many reasons, we bonded well as actors and had a great time.Here are some photos that you won't see in any promotional material...cause I took 'em! Enjoy.

    看完《天堂口》之后，不由长叹一声，香港的悲情江湖片不再重现......

    香港---一个曾经离开祖国怀抱的城市，本身就充满了传奇色彩。而由于英国长时间的统治使得香港既具有东方的含蓄美，又具有西方的奔放美，而香港人更是风姿卓越，不仅有西方人的想象力，而且极富东方人的模仿力，这样就为香港的影视业的发展奠定了雄厚的基础。

    所以我们看到了吴宇森，看到了王家卫，看到了周润发，看到了梁朝伟......

    《天堂口》可以说是我们久违的一部悲情江湖片，说到悲情江湖片，我们很容易就想到了吴宇森，曾经是他让我们为江湖的最低阶层感到了悲哀，为他们流泪，为他们不能释怀......《英雄本色》、、《喋血双雄》《喋血街头》，这些都是吴宇森曾经带给我们的。说到这些电影，大家就会想起周润发来，那个身穿黑风衣，手持双枪的小马哥曾经是多少男孩子的梦想！

    除了上述的几部电影，大家或许马上就会想起王家卫的《旺角卡门》，那时的演员和导演都是初出茅庐，但是留给大家的却是强烈的震撼，相比之下，2004年的那部被誉为是《旺角卡门》续集的《江湖》却辉煌不再，大家除了记住里面血腥的砍杀，还记得什么？

    《天堂口》的演员阵容是壮观的！导演是首次听说的一个叫陈亦忻，但是大家看过后就发现这部片子在很多地方和吴宇森早期的《喋血街头》相似，主人公都走了这么一个路线，以前是好兄弟，一起出来闯江湖，后来却自相残杀，但是模仿的却一塌糊涂！ 虽然这部片子有进入好莱坞很久的吴宇森监制，可是那种味道却不再强烈，特别是那种讨巧的台词，让人感到很做作！比如最后张震、吴彦祖和刘烨的决斗中张震说了一句很搞笑的话：这才叫杀手！我自认为智商比较低，不知道这句话要表达个什么意思？！而曾经《英雄本色》中狄龙说的那句“现在的江湖已经不是以前的的江湖了”让多少人心中一颤！

    或许香港江湖片由于吴宇森的退出，辉煌真的不在重现了？！幸好我们还有尔东升，2005年的《旺角黑夜》，2007年的《门徒》，可以让我们重新体验一下，江湖的无奈和伤感！也可以让我们再次拾起香港的悲情江湖片......

    This is to MaggieCPA.  I must disagree with you about Jay's Secret.  He directed and acted so well that we were surprised beyond words after watching the movie.  The musical pieces were wonderfully played and this we have checked with the musicians.

    As for Blood Brothers, though I have not watched it on the big screen, the reviews are good though I must say that the plot was not new.  For most, this movie had brought back memories of films we watched growing up.  What is wrong with that?

    Above all, lets agree to disagree and be kind.

    Nothing worthy being watched.
    Even worse than Jay Chou's first movie "Secret"~~!

    Well, liu ye & sun hong lei & zhang zhen ,
    these 3 guys did much better than u, but much worse than themselves. Liu & Sun did much better than Zhang.

    How depressed~~~!!!! Could u catch that feeling???????

    What's this & what's that & why this & why that  was all i thought during the movie. No common movie sense in this "movie". I wonder why u smart guys got such a low taste. Surprised......Depressed........

    ps:
    the character in "blood brothers" or things like that from now on is no longer suit for u.

    Talk about shameless... that's a magazine feature!  I'm sure we'll get to watch it in the UK.  However, I'm afraid most people will have to watch via bootleg DVDs... Very unfair we don't get to watch it properly on the big screen... Ho hum... Looks great, by the way!!! = )
