so what yall been up to in the days of late?

first of all, yay! DARK KNIGHT has earned $394.9 million in just 17 days. crazy shit bitch muhfucka!  yes i have turrets.
    ::centering myself::

    does anyone know toni basil?

well she don't look like this no more, she old now haha. so yeah anyways she's workin to set up TINA TURNER's 2008-2009 world tour. as the choreographer, she wants to HIRE 3 of my friends and me to help perform some flipping/martial arts during the CONCERTS (touring america for 3 months and europe for another 3 months). 6 MONTHS goddamn!

I think tina's like 70 yrs old now, anyone know for sure?
the PAY is GOOD but i'm still NOT quite sure if i want to away for 6 months :(. because i do have 3 projects i'm waiting on to launch. but no stress, we'll see. any suggestions from the most intelligent people i know?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

would you watch this movie??? hahah it's actually hancock and dark knight...if you  haven't guessed already.

NO!!! Morgan is in critical condition after a car accident. wish him well. dude, i did not know that he was 71 yrs old.

TONY is one of my favorites of all time. CONGRATS! aight so i stole this pic from  somewhere. i love tony leung eversince he was a novice actor in this:

yes it's in Khmer (Cambodian dubbed). i think this was one of his first roles. i love this movie! his character was so silly. anyone reemember it? called something like "twin swords"

shamelessly placing myself along with the finest.

yay critter placed me next to JET!!! thanks critter! too bad brendan is there grrr.rrrr.r.r.r. haha

    ------------------------------------SPOILER ALERT!!!______oops---------------------

    Review of MUMMY 3

-as much as i wanted to like this movie. i must be honest with myself and say i expected more. 7/10
    - scrīpt: 6/10. transitioning from place to place were too abrupt and it seemed hm.... unrealistic to me. dialogue wasn't witty so i felt a lil insulted. hehe

-ROMANCE: not once did i believe in the love between luke and isabella. happened too fast that it made ME feel uncomfortable (i sorta placed myself in the movie : it was like a feeling that someone was trying to force me to fall in love when you can only fall in love with the absence of that type of pressure) know what i mean?

    - i guess that the real reason i wasn't enchanted by the scrīpt was simply cuz too much of it was for children. (remember i don't like children hahhahaha j/k moving on)

    -COSTUMES: 10/10. excellent

-CGI AND PRODUTION VALUE: 9.5/10. some was unbelieveably great and some mediocre (like i laughed when i saw jet's face peering out of the fountain of life or watever.

    - sound was good but i won't rate cuz i don't know much about it.

    - ACTING: 6/10. oh lord how do these people live with themselves. haha. i'm only talking about specific people. brendan frasier, not once did i see any  type of REAL EMOTION. i saw a hollywood actor, not rick o'connell. judging by what i see, he seems like a really cool person though   Maria was ok tho.

(this is my favorite poster by the way, but it's actually the book cover haha)

Luke Ford never sold a single emotion to me.
-he was in a tomb that had boobie traps left and right but yet his portrayal had none of that.
-romance - in love you need vulnerability. i didnt' see any.
-again i saw a hollywood actor.
-supposedly, he will take the lead for future mummy series...all i have to say is ....oh lord have mercy.

isabelle did better than brendan and luke whcih is huge cuz the language barrier but still could be better. but i give her credit for acting in another language cuz i can imagine it would be tough.
as the movie progressed, she got more beautiful.

WOW she looks stunning for her age!!! props to her. even tho neither english nor mandarin was her mother tone. she pulled it off. her emotions were pretty much on point.  good job michelle. still didnt' believe she was 2000 yrs old tho. it's a tough element to capture.

jet's acting has come a long way and i'm PROUD of him. i feel that he's put in the effort to representing the martial arts community and i liked his performance. even though i didn't believe he was who he portrayed, he did better than the american actors. good job JET.

    - best actor goes to anthony wong! always a pleasure to watch
-russell wong didn't belong haha sorry but that's how i really feel.

-rachel wiesz didn't want to be in this one cuz: for 1, she didn't like the screenplay in the end. and 2, she got kids to watch over.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK NOW LET'S SEE AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT I FEEL IS SUPERIOR ACTING:
Marion Cotillard from La Vie En Rose. (super real emotions)

Thx for the good mummy review Dy. I think Jet & Michelle were great and acted better than the others. But I just didn't like their little fight too far from Yuen Woo Ping for me :).

Jet is so... hot .... mmmmmmmh.

    WOW!
That's some blogg'n!  The tour sounds interesting.
I think Michelle was the best actor/actress in the whole movie!  I loved seeing Jet and he did a great job - but Michelle was amazing!  I missed Rachel, I think she would have helped  Brendan's character come back to life.  And, if Luke Ford has anything to do with any future Mummy movies... this will be the last one I ever watch.

I hope Morgan Freeman fully recovers. He's one of my all time favs!

oh! Thanks for the mention! (guess I can never change that screen now) =P

Nooo, so was this who Shia LeBouf hit while he was drunk driving or whatever?

I hope Morgan is ok I've always liked him for long as I can remember.

Go Jet, Go Michelle, Go Isabelle (dunno who she is but she's pretty so that deserves a go...right?) Too bad for Brendan the others I don't really care about.  Oh and GO Anthony Wong, and Russel Wong was mean to the younger version of my cousin in Joy Luck club so I have a grudge against him hehe.

xibanyae....I think the kid, played by Luke Ford, is really a cave man.  Definately an oversight on the part of Mummy 3 to not have Alex with his English accent since he apparently went to school(s) in England.  I think it would have been too much of a stretch for Luke Ford to do anything but grunt.  Go check out my review on my blog!  =)

"Oh, DY!  You're so fine you boggle my mind, hey DY!  Hey, hey DY!"

Yeah, boggle.  I think your friends should tour with Tina.  Sure, it'd be great to be traveling and touring (for about 2 wks!!!) but I don't think you'd be happy in the long run and it would certainly set you back in terms of legit opportunities to pursue your craft (acting, not Kraft Macaroni 'n Cheese!).

So, my advice to you is to stay on the path you're on....three projects waiting to be green lit with more unknown opportunities keeps you "in" the industry whereas Touring for Tina just makes you a backup....like K-Fed.  Ew....let's not go there, okay?

For xibanyae:  Rick O'Connell was an American orphaned in Cairo.  Evy was Brittish and grew up (mostly) in Egypt.  When they struck it rich after the first Mummy movie, they got that lovely chateau in England and had Alex.
