The tour I was on was so tightly scheduled they went right to the Summer Palace after we put our luggage in our hotel rooms. I was passing out on my feet from not sleeping on the plane or the night before due to the excitement about the trip. In short, people went to the Summer Palace & I went to bed. Woke up in a few hours feeling great, but dang what beauty I missed seeing. So thanks for the gorgeous pictures, I got to enjoy the beauty thru them. :)
