It's 7am, I've been up since the guys drove up in my yard at 6am. Another day of construction on the house! I was too tired last night to blog. So I'll share the pictures and highlights now.
The day started early - 6:15 am and I was having to help Dad remove the vent/light in the bathroom because a new floor joist was going to go right across it. Then the guys came in to start taking down the attic fan and attic access stairs.
Sometimes it seems like the addition will never be complete. But things are moving along!

I'm so glad I don't have to build houses for my full time job! Especially in 90+F heat & sun.

I thought it'd be fun to share some pictures I found while cleaning out my attic.

As a matter of fact, it was featured in the opening scene of Gone With the Wind. It's believed to be the only remaining structure from that film. So, put on your hoop squirt...Read more
OK - so. March 18th I blogged about finally getting the footing dug for the addition to my house.
TODAY- we finally got to pour the concrete! Weather and schedules held us off for a a month (plus).
(the house beside us is lower and the wires hang low- but not for a normal person or vehicle!)
