Well i am going to Dallas in the morning to hopefully sign the papers on a new apartment.  Please cross your fingers, pray, jump on one leg... What ever it takes so that when i come back i have found a decent clean apartment i can aford and feel safe in.. Is that too much to ask?  i should be back sometime (perhaps late) on Thursday.  So if you don't see me on or hear from me don't worry. lol i'll be back.  (lol why do i always hear the Terminator in my mind when i say or type that?)  i am taking my laptop with me so hopefully i will find the time to check in.. but i can't promise cause who knows what is going to happen. lol  i was kinda hoping to take this trip by myself but my mom has decided she is going to come too.. lol so i'm feeling a lil stressed out about her coming.. i sincerely love my mom.. But she is one of those types of people who get excited over things easy and that stresses me out..  i like calmness, peace, harmony.. and well with her.. that isn't always possible especially when it comes to things which are out of her element.. Being in Texas is out of her element.  The traffic, people, just the busy ness of it really makes her on edge.. so i'm hoping we can get through the next few days without killing each other.  lol She gets excited easy and i make her nervous cause i don't get excited enough. lol

Yeah I know I'm early.. Especially considering that the preseason doesn't even start for about another 6 weeks or so.  But i can't help it.  One of the things i am most excited about in moving to Texas is being able to attend Dallas Mavericks game and being able to watch all their games on TV.  I have missed it so much this past year.  I found this really funny video online and thought I would share it with everyone.  One of my best friends, Jayna and her husband have season tickets to the Mavs and so I know I will be able to attend some of the games.  I really can't wait to get down there and I love the idea that the preseason will start about the time I move down there.  lol I told Jayna's husband that since I was moving down there, they were bound to have an outstanding year since I was going to be able to cheer them on.  So we'll see.. And yes.. I AM roudy, loud and proud!!

LOL I'm not sure how many of you read my blog titled pics but through out the whole thing i went on about how much i missed living in Texas.. Well my days here in Missouri are numbered!!!  i'm going to be moving back to Texas in October and I'm so excited!!!!  As much as i love my family and i do.. Dallas just has an excitment to it that is not here where i live.  I still have so much to do to get ready to move.. but just knowing that it is going to happen has really made me hyper and so excited.  i so cannot wait.  One thing that is cool about online friends is that it doesn't matter where you live or if you move.. you just take them along with you!!!  Yay me!!! :)  lol

Hey everyone, i need your help!!!  I started something with my listeners and being the demanding bunch that they are they have demanded more..  A couple of weeks ago.. i started telling stories on my shows and they went over pretty well.  Well the problem is.. coming up with new stories.. lol I have been told i can make up stories but i've been thinking about new stories to tell since Saturday and i'm coming up empty.  LOL If i don't come up with a story no telling what embarrassing stuff they will want me to do. :)  The more embarrassing the story the better off.. cause they love to see me get all embarrassed and stuff.  Now it is an adult radio station so it can be of an "adult" nature.  If you have a story to share of like your most embarrassing moment that i can either talk about or spin into a story about myself. That is great!!  I can either share it as your story and or say it is my own.  Please feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message.. All help will be appreciated cause i'm truly having a problem thinking of anything. Thanks!!

Well today it was supposed to get extremely hot and i decided that i was not going to spend yet another day inside.  It is summer.. and i wanted to enjoy it.  Of course.. i do believe today was the hottest day of the year so far.  The heat index was supposed to get around 104-105.  Now i don't know about where you live but here in Missouri we have humidity that will knock you over in an instant.  Let me tell you today was no exception.  So i had this really bright idea.. My mom and stepdad have a pool.. They live out in the middle of nowhere.. They weren't going to be home today.. *ding, ding, ding...*  i could tan without fear of tan lines.. Not, that i think i am an exhibitionist.. at least not like the people going for a bike ride in Andy On's blog.  Shy, no.. Wanting to put on a show.. not yet in this life..  So i think wow.. what a wonderful idea.. (or so i thought) lol 

Well first of all, i go outside only to be dive bombed by hummingbirds.  Yes, i know what you are thinking.. Hummingbirds are itty bitty birds.. they are cute.. they in no way could be violent.. Let me say,  if you are walking outside naked.. and things start flying at you with long sharp beaks... ya move.. i have parts of my body i have in no way desire to be pecked at.. At least not by them. lol  Hummingbirds are fierce!!  My mom has like 3 hummingbird feeders on the back porch and i think there were probably at least 8-10 of them around.  (Like i was standing still trying to count them)  But there they were.. chirping like nuts and coming right at me.. lol i ran for the pool.  I was somewhat grateful i was already naked.  Here is a pic of some of them (from inside the house) lol i didn't want to take any chances with them clothed either.  In all fairness they attack each other.... so at least it wasn't anything personal.. Well to me anyway.

lol they weren't cooperating and staying still so i could try and get a bunch of them at one time.. but let me tell you they are leathal!! 

There were more in the picture when i orginally clicked on the camera.. lol but before the camera processed it (yeah, it's a cheap one) they flew away.

Well, i get in the pool and i think oh good.. i should be safe here.. and i was from the hummingbirds anyway.  But in all the excitement i forgot to do one important thing that everyone should do if they are going to spend anytime out in the sun.. PUT ON SUN SCREEN!!! And i was going to be really good.. i had a bottle of SPF45.. i should be good, right?  lol Well funny thing... that only helps IF you put it on.. So after i swim in the pool relaxing and enjoy myself.. (i tell ya, there is nothing like skinny dipping!)  After about 30-45 mins i decide.. i'm gonna go ahead and get out. So i get out, reach for my towel, knock out the sun screen from my towel when i realize.. Whoops!! i forgot to put that on.. i look down and guess what?  I am burnt to a crisp!!!!  I got burnt in places i didn't even realize one could get burnt.  

This is a view of the backyard.. (again taken from inside) Would you want to go outside with killer hummingbirds on the lose if you didn't have to?  One of the reasons i felt pretty secure in skinny dipping is because the back yard is surrounded by 20 acres of 10-12 feet tall stalks of corn.. Aint nothin' going to be seen through that.  My stepdad farms about 400 acres i believe but luckily on that land it's corn.. I don't exactly feel that secure say if it is soy that is planted around the house. lol I have family that gets a lil unnerved because it reminds them of the movie Children of the corn.. but it doesn't bother me.. i love it! 

Well about the time i get out of the shower and put aloe vera lotion all over my body.. my mom calls me.. Would i please be a dear and run to the store and get ice.. Being the dutiful daughter that i am.. After hanging up.. sobbing hysterically cause this means i'm gonna have to put on a bra.  (no tan lines remember?)  I very carefully get dressed and drive to the store.. pick up ice and take it to the fire department where my mom and stepdad are working a "tractor pull" with their lions club.  For those that don't know the lions club is an organization that raises money for charities.. The one their club supports the most is the St Jude's Hospital which helps especially children with diseases when a lot of the time the families don't have money to pay for hospitial bills.  Being that my parents live in the middle of nowhere.. my stepdad is a farmer.. Well the community they live around is mostly a community of farmers.. Nice, honest, hardworking farmers.. But it did dawn on me exactly why i was still single.  Midwest farmers daughter (quoting David Lee Roth) maybe make you feel alright.. But their looks do not come from the men in the family!! lol I looked around the room as i ate my cheeseburger and drank my sweet tea.. i so wanted to take a picture cause i know you all wont believe me.. but here sat all these men. Either a straw hat or a baseball cap on.. tshirts and overall's!! There was this cute lil old man there i really wanted to take a picture of.. Now when you are 80.. the look is adoreable..  when you are my age.. HELL NO!  lol  But the little old man was so cute.. He had this bright orange straw hat on.. short sleeve shirt and striped overall's.. He also had this really long grey beard that went down just a lil below his chest.  I so wanted to take a picture of him but my mom wouldn't let me. So i told her if i couldn't take any pics of anyone else.. i'd have to take a picture of her.  So here it is.. that is my stepdad sitting behind her. 

See jugger.. my mom does not look elegant all of the time.. lol in fact.. it is only a very small portion of the time she looks elegant.. However.. she is the bestest mother in the world and i'd be really lost without her so i wont pick on her too much.  Just keep in mind.. she is a farmer's wife.  :) Not too many reasons to dress up elegant. 

Well that is about it.. I'm gonna stay out here for a few days and just relax.. (yeah.. i don't want to have to put on a bra, so i'm staying put) I get back.. and go to the office and here is a wasp.. i am deathly afraid of wasps.. *sigh*  i get to dj in 45 mins.. i'm hoping the wasp has found another room to roam or this show might get interesting. lol
