Dude, I had no idea you had left that many comments on my BL / WJM blog. I wasn't even paying attention for months! Suffice it to say, there are a whole lot of details about that conflict the public doesn't know about. I know some people who were around back then and I can tell you for certain, Bruce Lee did not win that battle. He actually went to Hong Kong and learned some Northern Shaolin (Wong's style) after the fight (he uses one of our moves in "Enter the Dragon"). Now why would he do that if ours was such a "Classical Mess"?
Oh, the theatre where Bruce made his wild boasts was Sun Sing Theatre on Grant Street in San Francisco's China Town. It's no longer a theatre. It's been converted into a little shopping center, but it still looks the same.
