Hi,friends

Long long long time no see……hehe

My old friend gave me hand made black berry jam few days ago.

It’s covered jar very very tight. I couldn’t open the lid.

I tweeted it on the twitter. My two friends (Hikaru and Hime whom I made friend with thought koko930) gave me good advice.

遠くに住む友達が、ブラックベリーの手作りジャムを送ってくれました。

食べようと思っても、蓋が固くて開かない。

Twitterで、「ビンの蓋が開かない」と呟いたらHikaruちゃんとkokoさんの紹介で知り合ったHimeさんの二人より同じアドバイスをもらった。

“Put the lid in hot water!!”

「ビンの蓋を（ポットくらいの熱さの）お湯につける」

I tried it.

After a while…..

I could open the lid!

ウチの親は、お湯につけるとかワンクッション置くやりかたじゃなくて、ビンの蓋を直火に当てて暖めるという荒業をします.....><
ビンが小さいと怖いんですよねぇ.....火傷しそうで....（笑）で、どうしようかと思い、Twitterでお湯につけるって教えてもらって、あぁ！なるほど！と思いました（笑）

自分もいつこういう知恵を得たかを考えると、常識とも言えないかと・・・
それにきっちり蓋閉めないで消毒すると、瓶の中の空気が膨張して出ていって、冷めた時にぴちっと閉まって開かなくなるんだったっけ・・・

と、昨日書きこんでからずっと考えてました。
きつい書き方してごめんなさい。

え？結構常識だと思ってたけど・・・それでも開かなくてふたを切って開けた事あります。
ふたをしてから煮沸消毒するから、その時きっちりしめると後で開かなくなるのよね。昔はたまにやったのだけど・・・
