Mooncake Festival was last Sat 3rd Oct, but i didnt really see the moon this time, unlike at my parents' whereby the moon is nicely glowing above the East Coast sea...

Anyhow, this time was an oversplurging on mooncakes. Bought so many, but none was exactly what i liked. Maybe i was bored of the Swisshotel's Champagne Ganache. But at least they had a mixture: Bailey's, Rum & Raisin, Hazelnut and the mentioned champagne. This year a new flavour tried that was not bad was Holiday Inn's Custard egg mooncake, which was recommended in 8 days. In the photos besides the Fairmont, the other one was Goodwood Park's Mango and Chempedak. I dun like durian or chempedak mooncake, so i just took the mango one. Durian was sold out, as usual. Mango was surprisingly a let down despite what i hear ppl raved about. It was just like mango pudding, or prolly the real dessert with pomelo tasted better. I dunno. What i wanted to try but didnt managed to was the Lycheetini by Peony Jade, but they dun offer samples :( Haagan Dazs mooncake but Mr Cloudz said it was totally not worth it; and the TWG mooncakes mentioned by Hazel (lurvesunday).

Ok mooncake indulgence aside. The little one is 1 year 1 mth old. And she still doesnt have teeth yet!!! Yesterday only spotted a small glimpse of white at the left side. But the funny thing is she eats a lot of stuff including adults' food like at dinner-rice, veg, salmon, mooncake, fruits etc watever. I think she uses her gums to bite?!

She walks damn fast now which is quite scary/dangerous; and she doesnt want nor need us to hold her. Daddy says she walks just as super fast as her mummy. Yeah i used to walk damn fast too, but now have slowed down since im pregnant with the 2nd one, and last time with Stariel. And prolly im older now haha (ok la 28 only :P but i feel older than my years sometimes).

I sing and read to her, sometimes i just switch on the baby videos so that she can watch while i use my laptop in peace. But nowadays, still have to give her books to distract her. But she will just sometimes pop down the high adults' bed and start walking around the house herself, and Ah Ma and/or i have to chase after her scurrying feet. She can say some simple words, besides the normal "Papa, mama, ah ma, gong", she can say "duck, car, toes", in chinese "Deng1 (light)" and point to it, "che" (car) etc etc. When ask her where is the face features/animals/fruits/objects, she can flip her books to find the object asked.

She loves to move/dance to music on TV adverts/radio/comp, and even without music! Like walk halfway, then start grooving...a bit funny.

Alrite, tats about all about her. Now i wonder how's the 2nd one gonna be like...

No teeth yet? No biggie. I'm sure they're there and they'll erupt closely together.
