My blog

  • my FINISHING THE GAME experience, part 1

    Monday, Oct 8, 2007 1:00PM / Standard Entry

so, almost two weeks later, I can finally post up my pictures with the FINISHING THE GAME family. they're going up in two sets, because i still have some pictures to get from a friend.

these are from the FTG family's visit to my school, Hunter College, for a screening of their documentary, "BUILDING A JOURNEY: FROM BETTER LUCK TOMORROW TO FINISHING THE GAME" and Q&A session, with a little hang-out time at the end =P

talking with these guys was awesome. you could feel the energy and drive that carried them, and they had so many great things to say. plus, they are just straight-up, down-to-earth, chill people. i was definitely happy to meet them all (and so, of course, i had to meet them again [and again ])

they/them, btw, were Justin Lin, Roger Fan, Sung Kang, Julie Asato, and Josh Diamond:

    i look odd, but w/e =P

roger, handling business with a smile

sung, mackin it (just kidding, i think...)

justin, spreading his words of wisdom (check the hand action)

    aww, we're so happy

i'm a giant next to julie...i don't feel bad, though, cuz she's surrounded by tall people (see: roger, sung, josh)

josh and i are messenger bag buddies =P (i just noticed that btw...)

with places to go and people to see (and because we were kinda getting kicked out of the projection room), the FTG family went on their way. but it definitely wouldn't be the last they saw of me....=P

  • beginnings...I'm not good with em....

sooooo...i'm not really a blog person, i tried the xanga thing a while ago but it didn't go too well, maybe this will be better, though at this point it doesn't seem like it.......

i actually got this blog solely for the purpose of having the ability to comment on others' blogs, but since i have it, i might as well use it. my next entry should be slightly more interesting than this one. as soon as i can, i'll be posting up my pictures from hunter's visit from some of the finishing the game family. VERY cool people, hopefully i can catch them again at the premiere at the ifc center, and take some more pictures to make for another more interesting blog. for now, here's a random photobooth creation (great boredom solution):

...i have no clue what that weird formation on my nose is about.....

well, until next time, peace out
