  • Ron English Private Gallery Event @ Garageworks!

    Ron will have an private art print exhibition & Charlie "Grin" toy release show at Garageworks Gallery store HK in January 13, 2009. Garageworks will showcase some behind the scene original sculpturing and sketches of the upcoming Charlie "Grin" figure.

    We will also disclose prototypes of our up & coming Popaganda Series release during the event. There will be signing session for toys and prints from 4-6PM & 8-11PM. More Details coming soon!!

    Inspired by one of the most iconic cartoon character from the 50s, Charlie Brown is a loveable loser, a child possessed of endless determination and hope, but who is ultimately dominated by his insecurities and a "permanent case of bad luck," and often taken advantage of by his peers. Until now.....Made by Monsters & Ron English are proud to presents "GRIN". The figure will be released in January 13, 2008. Stay tune for Ron English's toy signing updates at GWI gallery store!!

  • "KAWS" BACK IN 1997

    I was looking through my toy sample shelve today, and this video also reminds me of my brother Hung did the production for the 1st generation KAWS companion figure back in 1997, which is also consider as one of the top pioneer artist collectable vinyl toys nowdays.

    I saw some pics "Grin" on Etchy's blog.
    The exhibition seemed to be interesting. The figures are really cute!! I envy who getting the Charlie Brown.
    I wanna go to Garageworks by all means if I go to Hong Kong. (⌒▽⌒)
