pfffft!
i havent been updating because i was really quite busy after assessment, almost immediately.
some things that have happened:
1) i started work at the museum, as exhibition for Mozart: A Child Prodigy, an exhibition from Vienna. 2 weeks have passed, and I am really liking work. This is my first try at dealing with kids, and I must say that it has been "so far, so good". I havent met any unruly kids as yet, but then again it does not mean i have met all kids that are nice. Kids at 3 years are really cute and nice! Some are quite intelligent and well-mannered. And i realised that at 2 years, they look quite big already. mMM. some caucasian kids are full of energy! they just run round and round and round, catching u, or running away from your catch. And oh. I just recently met this little girl, 7 years old and has started schooling, who is ultimately dependent and lazy and is just a spoilt brat. Well she isnt rude or anything, but she cannot finish a task by herself (needs alot of coaxing to finish it), and after a few mins she'll always say it is too difficult and she doesnt want to do it and she wants her maid to do it. pfft.
2) i signed up for Calfit, but.... I havent been making use of it. *GUILTY*. I feel i should have asked for a trial before i signed up. sigh! now i dont really feel very comfortable at this gym, especially since i am working and i can only go before or after work (before 9.30am, after 6.30pm - PEAK PERIOD). I can go before 9.30am, but that'll mean i gotta wake up very very very early. Going at 6.30 is very bad too because there are many many ppl there, almost 90% of the machines are all used. And me, being new to the gym, i dont really feel very comfortable with being alone in a crowd.
3) I submitted my portfolio to Arts London's Central Saint Martins after assessment, and i got the results last week. I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THEIR BA COURSE! woooHOOOO! well it really is an accomplishment because i've heard how difficult it was to get into CSM, and i have experienced it first-hand myself. I was flatly rejected before. So i'm really excited, especially because the opportunity is there, the window is open, for me to study overseas! Now i just need the finance, to be able to see part of this dream come true. Getting the finances is really difficult... and i am very stressed by it. I dont want to let this opportunity slip past...
4) my dad's canon A1 died. well i mean, because it hasnt been used in like 15 years and it was just neglected, it died a slow death by letting fungus take over its lenses. no point cleaning it because it is beyond hope, and getting new lenses is similar because they are not new and extremely expensive. So my dad says, GET A NEW CAMERA! woohoo. i'm excited at getting a new digital camera... but... i really liked that A1. made me feel professional holding it....
