God is Awesome

i can't say that i am officially back..

i just wanted to share you guys our annual family project

my aunt (mom's cousin), mom and i were all born on the last week of October (24,30 and 31 accordingly)..
every year is a blessing and there's too much to be thankful of.. so, to break the stereotype of having lavish celebrations, we decided to adopt a little community and "take care" of them. (thanks to Pastor Mel for making it possible.) i've been keeping this for a while, but now i think it's the time for me to share the little angel in me.

we were doing this for like 3 years now; and for the last 2 years, we celebrated by inviting kids from our adopted community and have a mini children's party at a local fast food chain .. but because a lot of typhoons had been affecting the Philippines lately, we all decided to give away mini grocery bags for this year.. God was really with us.. miracles flooded by the time we brainstormed about the idea up to the time it was executed..

this year, we were live via skype!! mom and my aunt in the states both saw it real time. (barney was of big help hehe)

we were expecting about a hundred bags of groceries to be distributed but God was awesome.. the target count ballooned up to 220 bags!! check out what happened next
