RIP

Last night I watched the second to last movie in my Netflix queue of all the movies in which Roy Cheung ever played.  This movie was a bore until Roy Cheung came onto the screen.  Cue the evil-sounding music...Woah!  You just know that something sinister is going to happen when he appears.  He looked good with the dark shades and the cigarette dangling from his lips.  Too bad the movie was dubbed.  I would love to hear how he sounded almost 20 years ago.  He's a magnificient actor, makes a magnificient villain.  Then I fell asleep after his character died.

I had a dream in which David Lee Roth was in it.  I don't remember what he was doing, but I was leaning my head on his chest and listening to his breathing.  Now I know I've had a crush on this man off and on and on and off, but I don't think it was one of those romantic dreams.  I got worried, so at the first opportunity, I checked The Roth Army to see if there's any news about Dave.  Nothing bad (whew!).  There was a nice clip of an interview from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Show.  Dave's looking good and being witty as hell. 

Now I'm playing all these recently-added clips of DLR interviews on YouTube when I should be sleeping.

I just came across a clip from the New York Times about employees being bullied by their bosses.  A lady in the clip who was interviewed said that she had to quit her job because it was affecting her health.  You're not kidding, lady.  I've got a ton of horror stories about the bully boss.  In fact, it was a year ago this week that I had had it up to here with putting up with shit for so long that I decided to quit after having worked for there for almost ten years.  When I think about why I didn't quit earlier I tell myself that at least I got out when I did.
