頭髮剪了...

今天把留了十二年的長髮剪了.
幫我打理頭髮多年的日本設計師還遲遲不敢動刀, 不斷地問:"真的可以剪嗎?"
"剪了吧." 我堅決地回答.
日本的習慣是, 當女生失戀的時候才會把長髮剪了. 所以我的設計師才那麼小心翼翼地, 像是怕傷了我的心似的.
其實沒有什麼驚天動地的原因, 充其量就是膩了吧. 雖然跟了我十二年的長髮, 也可能是一種過去的包袱.
我想著曾經愛過我的男人們戀著我的長髮, 要我許諾永遠不變. 當然最後我們都變了. 我的長髮沒變. 它有時淡有時深有時淺, 跟著我走過心酸心碎快樂狂喜, 而我不肯剪的原因竟然只是因為害怕沒有了它也許我就沒有了他的寵愛.
所以膩了. 膩了當一個沒有自信心的小女人.

Sydney's NYE Fireworks 悉尼跨年煙火秀, 美不勝收!

For the New Year's Eve I hosted a small party at home. Where I live is right near by the water, close to the Harbour Bridge.
What a beautiful view~ And direct from my balcony!
Well... I gotta show it off... You can't really blame me if you have this view right from your balcony you would do it too!
Boats were decorated as...well...we called it "seafood platter"!
Can you see the tall building on the right? It's an absolute eyesore. But in this picture it looked good. Don't you think so? By the way the name of that building is... Banana. What a name!
It's really hard to take photo of fireworks. These photos were as good as I could get...
I managed to come up with some dishes to feed everyone. I didn't cook. I "prepared". Everything was from the supermarket pre-made! But hey not bad for someone who still had to work on 31st Dec!
I've also transformed my apartment into an entertaiment quarter. Look at the screen on the wall!
We even have PS2 Sing Star as part of the entertainment. Too bad there's no Chinese version. We had fun still!
The picture below is a place called "Blues Point Reserve". Even in the early morning there were tents set up already. It's only about 3 minutes walk from my apartment.
People were still marching there in the afternoon - but it was already full.
See? Full!
Of course I couldn't let the perfect Kodak moment (or Canon moment?) go! Pitcure time with my friends.
These photos were taken from my apartment... That's the view that I get to see every single day. I am spoiled!

I missed out the company Christmas party last year because I was in Beijing. And this year I got three to go to. One cocktail party, one dinner and one lunch!
Seems like life is making up for me.

I reckon Christmas party is the best way to ease into work group... I only started working at this company about 5 weeks ago. Now I've got a social life and a group of friends who we can hang out with!
