It's been so long since I last wrote, I sincerely apologize! I missed wishing you a great Christmas, New Years, Chinese New Year, and Valentine's Day. And there are no excuses for that!
太久沒寫博客，真很抱歉！時間過得很快，圣誕節，新年，農歷新年，情人節都巳經過去了。沒有早些問候和祝福大家，真對不起啦！
First, I would like to say thank you for all those people who took the time out to message me here on AnD. Your words were encouraging, wise, and supportive, and I really really appreciate that! I also appreciate any criticism you may have regarding my career, because I know that people criticise when they care. If no-one tells you you're doing a bad job and if you're doing a bad job, you should worry because it means they have given up on you and don't care if you succeed or fail. Many of you said I shouldn't take roles where I'm just a decorative vase --I will do my best to pick good films and not disappoint you !

After Legendary Assassin came out, I did a guest appearance for ''Love Connected'' and played a flight attendant who dates a guy, who has 3 girlfriends behind my back. I really hope this doesn't happen to any of you in real life, but don't worry if it does, there are many fish in the sea!!!!

I was also honored to be invited to sing at JSG on TVB for the first time. We sung with TVB's very own live band and I was asked to sing one of Amei's song '' 聽海 '' with GEM - who is an incredible singer at a young age of 17. She's a very sweet girl and it was great to be able to sing with her.

For some reason, in this industry, when you're busy you're super busy and when it's quiet, you're at home twiddling your thumbs and overindulging in too many episodes of heroes. Work comes at the same time and goes at the same time. November / December was probably the busiest time of my life. I shot Love Connected over 2 days and on the last day I was up at 10am, filmed overnight till the morning, then went straight to JSG for rehearsals and performance, and was done by 12pm midnight the next day. So I was up 26 hours in a row! I'm still getting used to that!!! My legs felt like they were giving out on me! :) I feel sorry for my banker friends who work those kind of hours often.
這個行業其實有一點奇怪的，不知道為什麼一忙就忙個不停的，靜起來的時候就待在家裡無所事事，哈哈。十一月十二月可能是我一生中最忙的時候。記得有次早上十時起床開工拍<<保持愛你>>，拍完接住去TVB上<<勁歌金曲>>到下一天的晚上十二時才收工，一共ニ十六小時，腳都軟了！這樣奇怪的工作節奏實在要慢慢適應！ :) 想到我在金融界工作的朋友經常要這樣挨夜，我代他們可憐。
For Christmas, I zoomed off to the US to see my family there. It was such a difference being in suburbia, shoveling snow off your walkway ! I hadn't seen my grandmother since 2003! It was such a joy to see her and it was a wonderful escape from the bustling lifestyle of Hong Kong. In between, I was also able to see some close friends in NY, Boston etc... Although I must say, my body does not like the cold when it's 20 below zero, your nose feels like it's gonna fall off!!!
圣誕節的時侯，我去美國探親了。郊區的生活特別平靜，除了屋外鏟雪是沒有什麼做的。我2003到2008年沒有探過祖母了，而且可以逃脫香港繁忙的城市生活， 實在舒服開心！中間我更分別去了紐約、波士頓等等探朋友。可是美國那個時候冷得要命，負二十度，鼻子都感覺快掉下了，我一點都不習慣！！

Anyway, I came back shortly after new years, had a few days to adjust to my jetlag and zoomed off again to Bangkok, Thailand. Can you imagine the temperature change???? It was so nice to be in hot weather though. I shot my fourth Ponds TV Commercial with TaProd and was so happy to see the crew as they are the most wonderful people. Thailand is an amazing place, other than it's tropical weather and delicious food, people are so open-minded, and they have these fantastic temples and other historical sights. I even randomly got a Harvard Shirt as a gift. Lol!
新年過後，我回到香港要很快地適應時差然後飛往曼谷拍第四部PONDS的電視廣告，你能想像溫度上的轉變嗎？我很開心能夠再跟TaProd的人合作因為他們非常友善！秦國真是一個令人驚嘆的地方，除了氣候溫暖和有很好吃的菜，還有很多很漂亮的廟。有人還隨意送了我一件Havard 的 T-shirt 哈哈

I returned to Hong Kong after Bangkok for Chinese New Years, did a few CNY jobs and started the promotion of Love Connected, I met a few really nice people like the director Yip Lim Sum, Marie and Katy (DJ Sammy's other girlfriends in the film) and Chloe Chu who sings the theme song of Love connected. The film finally premiered on the 17th last week.Anyway, my last note is to all of you, I know these times have been rough with the financial crisis, I know firsthand as a lot of my friends are suffering and they and many other people have lost their jobs! I do hope we all remain optimistic, and stick with each other, especially our dearest family and friends during these bad times. It's the bad times, the hard times that bring us together, and make us stronger!
回到香港就是農歷新年了，我亦開始了<<保持愛你>>的宣傳工作，認識了很多好人，例如葉念深導演, 龔嘉欣，諸葛梓蚊 (森美電影中的女朋友) 和 Chloe Chu 電影插曲的歌手。而<<保持愛你>>在今個月十九號上映了。
Since then, I've started choosing songs for my next album. I've heard some really good songs that I like which I hope will be included. It is a long project though, recording this album, so please have some patience with me, my dear friends and hopefully I can bring to you something you will really enjoy.

CHANGE HAS COME
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.
It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voices could be that difference.
It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled - Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.
It's the answer that led those who have been told for so long by so many to be cynical, and fearful, and doubtful of what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day.
It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.
PARTNERS IN THE JOURNEYA little bit earlier this evening I received an extraordinarily gracious call from Senator McCain. He fought long and hard in this campaign, and he's fought even longer and harder for the country he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine. We are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader.
I congratulate him, I congratulate Governor Palin, for all they have achieved, and I look forward to working with them to renew this nation's promise in the months ahead.
I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton and rode with on that train home to Delaware, the vice-president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.
And I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last 16 years, the rock of our family, the love of my life, the nation's next first lady, Michelle Obama. Sasha and Malia, I love you both more than you can imagine, and you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House.
And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother is watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight, and know that my debt to them is beyond measure. To my sister Maya, my sister Auma, all my other brothers and sisters - thank you so much for all the support you have given me. I am grateful to them.
To my campaign manager David Plouffe, the unsung hero of this campaign, who built the best political campaign in the history of the United States of America. My chief strategist David Axelrod, who has been a partner with me every step of the way, and to the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics - you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done.
VICTORY FOR THE PEOPLEBut above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to - it belongs to you.
I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn't start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington - it began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.
It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give $5 and $10 and $20 to the cause.
It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation's apathy; who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep; it grew strength from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on the doors of perfect strangers; from the millions of Americans who volunteered, and organised, and proved that more than two centuries later, a government of the people, by the people and for the people has not perished from the Earth.
This is your victory.
THE TASK AHEADI know you didn't do this just to win an election and I know you didn't do it for me. You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime - two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century.
Even as we stand here tonight, we know there are brave Americans waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us.
There are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after their children fall asleep and wonder how they'll make the mortgage, or pay their doctor's bills, or save enough for their child's college education. There is new energy to harness and new jobs to be created; new schools to build and threats to meet and alliances to repair.
REMAKING THE NATIONThe road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term, but America - I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you - we as a people will get there.
There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as president, and we know that government can't solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree.
And above all, I will ask you to join in the work of remaking this nation the only way it's been done in America for 221 years - block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.
ONE NATION, ONE PEOPLEWhat began 21 months ago in the depths of winter cannot end on this autumn night. This victory alone is not the change we seek - it is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were. It cannot happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.
So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other. Let us remember that if this financial crisis taught us anything, it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers - in this country, we rise or fall as one nation; as one people.
Let us resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long. Let us remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House - a party founded on the values of self-reliance, individual liberty, and national unity.
Those are values that we all share, and while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress. As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours: "We are not enemies, but friends… though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection."
And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn - I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your president too.
AMERICA IN THE WORLDAnd to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of the world - our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand.
To those who would tear the world down - we will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security - we support you.
And to all those who have wondered if America's beacon still burns as bright - tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.
For that is the true genius of America - that America can change. Our union can be perfected. And what we have already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow.
A HISTORY OF STRUGGLEThis election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that's on my mind tonight is about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She's a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing - Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old.
She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons - because she was a woman and because of the colour of her skin.
And tonight, I think about all that she's seen throughout her century in America - the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can't, and the people who pressed on with that American creed: Yes, we can.
At a time when women's voices were silenced and their hopes dismissed, she lived to see them stand up and speak out and reach for the ballot. Yes, we can.
When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs and a new sense of common purpose. Yes, we can.
When the bombs fell on our harbour and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes, we can.
She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that "we shall overcome". Yes, we can.
A man touched down on the Moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination. And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change. Yes, we can.
THIS IS OUR MOMENTAmerica, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves - if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made?
This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment.
This is our time - to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth - that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where we are met with cynicism and doubt, and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: yes, we can.

My Recent Escapade

Before I post up pics on L.A. I just wanna say how ecstatic we all are that OBAMA WON!!!!!!!!!!! YES WE CAN! His victory speech was extremely touching, we cried here in Hong Kong. I will post up a video soon for those who have not seen it. He's been an inspiration to us all! Even though it is only the beginning, it is a relief that America has hope again!

Back to L.A.
I was in Guangzhou last week for a press conference, and the funniest questions were asked. Quoted below - as you can see on my face, I was laughing hysterically and shocked all at the same time at the bluntness of reporters :) Hilarious! For those who don't read Chinese, a reporter asked WuJing if he had developed feelings for me during the filming process(how awkward a question!) And obviously, we were both professional and he politely said no. Then Jing was asked what type of girl he likes, he replied that the girl of his dreams doesn't necessarily have to be pretty, but elegant; doesn't have to be intelligent, rather wise; doesn't have to be gentle but rather nice. The the reporter turned to me, along with a group of 20 something ppl and said, how do you feel, Celina Jade, that you are not these qualities! hahahahaha I burst out laughing, it was absolutely hilarious!!!!!!
Anyway, in my mind, this I echoed in my reply, relationships should be about feeling, rather than fulfilling a list of qualities. I guess, I'm a romantic afterall :)

吴京表示，与戏中女主角Celina Jade 的浪漫爱情，就是为了表达男女之间刚认识不久，那种朦朦胧胧的最美的感觉。吴京表示，Celina Jade在片中除了跟他有感情戏外，还有一场打戏，为此吴京还训练了她一个月的自由搏击。对于新人Celina Jade的表现，吴京表示很满意，称她可以拿金像奖最佳新人奖。而现场Celina Jade也盛赞吴京不但功夫了得，而且演起感情戏来还非常投入，“他很厉害，向我跪地三秒，就可以双眼通红哭起来了”。于是大家笑问吴京，对Celina Jade的感情有否从戏中延伸到现实生活中。吴京听了表示很汗，“我是选演员又不是选老婆”，他说，他拍摄这部片根本没把Celina Jade当女的，大家都只是干活。有记者不死心，继续问他戏外是否对CelinaJade有感觉，吴京没有直接回答，只是说：“我是很传统的男孩，我很被动的。碰到合适就合适，她不一定需要很漂亮，但是要有气质，不一定很温柔，但是要善良，不一定要很聪明，但是要有智慧。而且还要讲究化学反应。”吴京如此委婉表示Celina Jade不是他心目中那碟菜，搞得Celina Jade有点尴尬，只好说：“又不是街市买菜，感情要讲究感觉的嘛”。
PROMOTING THE FILM IN HONG KONG
It seems a lot of journalists are curious whether this film will only be about action, obviously Wu Jing is the king of action, but I deeply believe the film is rather touching. In fact, as a girl, I enjoy the emotional subtleties of the film. So if you're a girl, I would give it a chance, bring your boyfriend along and teach him a lesson on what it is to be truly romantic, even though it is only a film, and unfortunately reality may differ.

About this last photo: the funniest thing happened yesterday, I was with a friend at 7-11 yesterday and I asked him to flip through east touch to see if the interview I did for them was out already, anyway, he flipped through it and couldn't find the interview but found a thumbnail of the above photo. He asked me, hey Celina, is that you? She really looks like you?! I looked at it and didn't remember wearing those clothes and said nah... Lateron in the day, I was told JET was out, so I went to buy a copy, embarrassingly it seemed I didn't recognise myself earlier! Now my friends won't stop making fun of me. Everytime we walk past a poster with a eurasian girl on it (that looks nothing like me) they say, 'hey Celina, is that you?' I reply 'NO!!' and then, they say, 'Oh I was just making sure you recognise yourself.'
Can you believe it?? lol
Halloween night was rather meaningful. I was invited to sing at the Lifeline Express Halloween Charity Ball, along with Rubberband and 'Siu Fei'. It was so much fun and for a good cause indeed... weirdly enough, my outfit looked a little like the backdrop. BTW, I know the outfit is slightly cliche but I was told not to cover up my face.... oh well! I was kinda hoping to go as Palin hahaha
