Greece is my favor place.
I have a wish when I get retied and the place I would like to live in Greece.
I've never get tiring to travel Greece, because Greece is the most interesting place to know and visit.
A
friend and I went to watch 'Greece: Secrets of the Past' this film
which invites us to join an archaeological journey, and exploration of
th vital legacies left to modern society by ancient Greek civilization
hurtling 2,5000 years back in time. The Digital re-creation techniques
facilitated the restoration of scenes such as the original Parthenon
and the powerful volcanic eruption that buried Santorini in 1646 BC.
The films is the stirring story of how a Greek archaeologist of the
21st century endeavors to uncover the Secrets of his ancient ancestors
whose astounding ideas, inventions and achievements have been
influencing the world until today.
I
went to the Island of Santorini in 2002 or 3. The Island of Santorini
which was marvelous place and I wish I would have chance to visit
again. Once destroyed destroyed by a gigantic volcanic eruption in
1646B.C., Santorini is now a circular archipelago of volcanic islands
located in the Aegean Sea. Some archaeologists found traces of a
Bronze Age city on this island.
I
also went to Athens and visited The Parthenon temple but at that time
the building were only broken columns of this temple lie scattered.
Ruins of the
Parthenon - The Parthenon was a temple to worship Athena, Goddess of
Wisdom. The Greeks had the genius to tailor this building to the human
eye. Unfortunately, only broken columns of this temple lie scattered
about today. A computerised depiction of the Statue of Athena Goddess
of Wisom which it is said that the crown jewel of the Parthenon was
once a huge statue of the goddess, Athena, a 12.2 meter tall tower of
ivory and gold.
