You know you've been a delinquent blogger when you get a message that tells you it's been X days since your last entry. I do apologize to everyone who has left me messages and comments. Please know that I always appreciate them and I will try my best to get back to you when I can. The title of this post refers to a recent New York Times article on the fate of “orphan” blogs left by their owners. Not to say that I want to orphan my blog. I actually still have many things I want to blog about but recent distractions and not feeling too hot have kept me from doing so. I do miss AnD and my friends here and will be back soon. I hope everyone has been well.

I met up with a friend and her boyfriend for dinner recently and I got to sit in the back of his vehicle with the tools of his trade. Interesting experience as I should mention that he's an exterminator so I was surrounded by boxes of mouse traps and industrial size cans of bug spray. So I noticed that mouse traps actually come in these flavors. Who knew? He said peanut butter works the best followed by anise. The things you learn sometimes.

i did orphan my blog on xanga, because it felt really juvenile. But i haven't orphaned my AnD blog nor my Blogger, so I don't feel too guilty. +P

Oh no, peanut butter also work best for me too...perhaps, I really need to get away from those mouse traps :)

Flavoured mouse traps.... it's the first I'm hearing of them. I'm sure the mice will like it. =P

Lol I recall my late husband using real peanut butter to catch mice in the basement. He said it worked much better than cheese in those plain old mousetraps. The anise flavor was a total surprise tho haha.

Interesting article about the orphan blogs. It never occurred to me someone would start a blog with getting a book deal in mind lol. If I don't have a topic in mind I can't blog these days, dunno why they used to come more easily. So I'd be in trouble if I needed to do one daily.

I thought this was gonna be part of a menu for some trendy dessert place you went to with your friends =D

I use peanut butter and a raisin when I bait mousetraps. Jam a fat raisin under the hook and over it in peanut butter. The mouse licks off the peanut butter then the greedy bast**d will go for the raisin every time!

Before reading the paragraph about this pic, I thought these were interesting flavors for whatever human-food you were going to talk about. haha. EVERYONE loves PB, come on!! 'cept those with that unfortunate allergy.
