Summer Restaurant Week is here. This makes fine dining available at reasonable prices in NYC. $24.07 for a three-course prix-fixe lunch and $35.00 for dinner. Mr. B and I hit up 2 places for lunch this time around. First up was Morimoto which is located just west of the Chelsea Market. It is owned and named for Japanese Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. We also went to Perry St which overlooks the Hudson River in the West Village and is one of many restaurants owned by famed chef and restaurateur Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The food was good at both places but the choices at Perry St. were broader and more varied so I would say the value was a bit better there. Photos of the food below so be warned if you happen to be hungry or haven't eaten yet. Restaurant Week runs through this Friday 8/1.
