From the outset of Single Ride – BOREA’s debut album - catchy tracks lay the band’s cards on the table: an enjoyable pop music with powerful riffs. BOREA’s optimistic tunes are delivered by Fred’s voice. Acoustic strings, electric guitars and keyboards answer each other or are intermingled, expressing tranquility, tension, urgency or relief. The rhythmical ebb-and-flow - with Kris on the bass guitar and Nick on the drums – bring those emotions to the fore. Their singular quality is emphasized by electronica tinges and Kris’s ethereal voice.
