Today is my birthday and I'm happy. Even though there are terrible things going on in the world, and the U.S. is embarking on a historic presidential election I found time to reflect on the happy smaller things in life. Sometimes we get so bogged down with the biggest stuff we forget to look at the little stuff. I'm happy to breathing today on my own steam and not a breathing machine or tube or anything like that. It's a blessing just to know my name and who I am because we take it for grantid the that we will always be able to use our minds.
Today is a good day and I'm going to keep it that way ! Happy Birthday to me

Today I had an interview for a job with a Japanese company. I felt so bad about not remembering to bow as a greeting!!! Of all the movies and documentaries I have watched about different cultures and customs I have should have known what to do when I greeted the people who were to interview me!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
They were really nice gentlemen and I hope I got the job, but I felt and still feel like a moron for not remembering the customs. Hopefully they didn't laugh too hard at me when I left.
Gosh, what a day!
