back to Tokyo Drift...

so i heard JTo's in there...

then i heard Tsumabuki Satoshi (妻夫木 聡)'s in there...

WUT THE~

actually...i didn't properly watch the whole flick at the time when it came out...which was released June last year...(060616 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Drift ) still preferred Paul Walker...in its predecessors...

sure...saw tons of the trailers...it was all over the place...the TV...the Internet...the streets (that is, if i head downtown...but, fat chance of having free time last year...that was a freakin' crazy, pressure cooker job...i ain't headin' back to anything related to the construction industry...exclusion clause: unless i marry a civil engineer or a construction company owner or anybody in the industry) it was all over the VCD outlets, yeah piracy was really fast back then...now too, just they don't go so obvious...

back to the flick...so i see JTo in a very heavy British accent...and i see Brian oppa...Kang Sung oppa...Leo oppa...ok, cool...but they're all not Japanese...(i realized this back then during the release actually) ok Brian oppa is half (like me)...Kang Sung oppa's character was ok, it was Han...Han is accepted as a Korean surname...Leo oppa's acting was really good, and his accent, can't fight that...having the typical Asian look, you can't really tell if he's Japanese or Korean...but definitely, Brian oppa and Kang Sung oppa have very Korean features...i'm not sure if u guys can tell, but over here in Sabah typically, we have people of all kinds, different races, different nationality, or hybrids like me...we sorta developed this sensitivity towards identifying people of different ethnicities...

that makes the only visible Japanese in this so called "Tokyo" Drift, Kitagawa Keiko-chan...the one scene only Tsumabuki Satoshi: a sip of the cigarette he was holding, dropping the remainder, a puff [ようこそ] points to the left レディpoints to the right セット points to the front [GO!] and steps away...and who could miss the real Drift King - Mr Tsuchiya Keiichi...as one of the 2 guys fishing right next to the garage...finally Mr Sonny Chiba, the Yakuza uncle of DK...

too bad they had to cut so many scenes out for "pacing purposes" as what Justin Lin uttered...i enjoyed many of the deleted scenes tho...especially how they were supposed to introduce the characters...Neela, Morimoto, Earl, Reiko, Han and DK supposedly would have a better intro than suddenly appearing...anyway...if you pay attention to the cars and drifting, you won't really come to 'notice' what the characters are doing...

well...i heard Far*East Movement's Round Round too! over at the futsal session...hehe...i was like HEY!!!

so what's in the next installment of The Fast & The Furious, or is there no more... are we going to Seoul instead? or OZ? maybe Europe...whatever...

anybody thinks that Kang Sung oppa kinda resembles our dear T? Terence Yin...or maybe it's just me...

anyway, i still miss a review on Ghost Tunnel...maybe later...weekend's here...

which means i'm not the only one who didn't watch it... the drifting was cool...but it's not like i've never seen any drifting or multi-car drifting simultaneously on the screen...the cars were nice...

Etchy...i think they should've made it Seoul Drift instead...anyhow, this flick shows how flexible those actors/actresses can be...check out their accents! Patrick...i think u should watch it as a form of support to ur fellow friends...lol~ all in all, if u're interested in cars and drifting, that's a pretty fast paced flick...the storyline at some point doesn't make sense...u have people show up all of a sudden when they weren't even there in the previous scene...of course, u won't notice if u weren't paying attention...=)
