yes, i finally found a drama that i like. sort of.
i'm super picky and this drama only comes up to the i'll watch it while i'm painting my nails or eating lunch bar
it's not the sort of drama that gives you heart failure like meteor garden, makes you cry buckets like ISWAK (yes, i'm crazy. there's nothing really sad about it but i have not cried in an idol comedy/romance drama more than in ISWAK), or demands you to pay attention every single second or else you won't know what going on like Prince Turns to Frog, but it has enough eye candy and typical rich boy-poor girl drama to keep me entertained

En Qiao! one of my main criterias for a drama is liking the main character and being able to sympathize with her (major reason i avoid Rainie dramas no matter how hot Mike is)
another important criteria is a hot guy. I think
Lan Cheng Long otherwise know as
Blue is quite hot....when he has his mouth closed and doesn't have a stupid scowl on his face (his character isn't very pleasant)
and he looks really different from his meteor garden days.....he looks like he got double eyelids and grew a foot shorter (well maybe it's just because xiao s was beyond short)
anywho...along with his looks...his acting kinda went down the drain too.....not to mention he has a resemblance to President Obama at some angles O.O weird i know
so the dude isn't perfect but there's others to make up for it
such as
Roy Chiu....aka Mike He lookalike...aka Rainie's ex.....don't expect anything amazing....his image isn't exactly pretty boy in bangs
GINO!!!! OMG i love him....he's just a lawyer...but he has bangs in this and glasses and nice suits.....*DROOL*
also
Xiu Jie Kai...he was vic's cute friend in Mars and that creeper in They Kiss Again that always lost to Zhi Shu
as for plot...don't look at the plot they give you on Sugoideas....it's crap.
basically the dude has to try to marry her because he's a greedy heartless bastard....and in the meantime they fall in love *eyeroll*
only 7 eps have come out...i'm workin' on the 5th right now
i think my FAV scene so far has been when they fell in the mud hole together haha
PS the grandpa in this is a complete ASSHOLE....my computer screen suffered last night
PPS other perks of watching this drama: adorable chubby little brother, cute dog, bitchy slut ho girlfriend, the mom in Prince turns to Frog, and Meteor Garden dad!
