hm, i've seen both of those movies.. and yet, i cannot think of who he is. i'll have to go look at his pic.. maybe that will jog my memory.

what the heck? weeds?????? goodness, i hope that goes off air, what are we trying to tell our kids? using drugs is a funny thing? no harm done? please!

Jason was not only in those movies plus THK as Sandy, the extra fruity assistant but he is getting his directoring feet wet with an Audiotaffic music video as well as a Hardpack music video. I've seen them both and they are awesome!
By the way, Hong Kong never had any weed movies and Weeds the tv series is great! Coincidentally my next project as a director just may break that dry spell!

the only hong kong film that came close to being a weed flick is a scene from "Made in Hong Kong".  Sam Lee's character gets so stoned that he nearly went out and killed his father.  (he chickened out at the end of his attempt)

HK ppl seem to have a misconception of marijuana.  we need movies to "educate" these ppl on the ganja cuz that stuff is good...occasionally...

and then, there's "You Shoot, I Shoot".
Cheung Tat-Ming drops marijuana in a boiling hotpot, causing Bart's wife and in-laws to get stoned.
that was a classic moment.  there were also scenes where Cheung Tat-Ming had to sell weed from Nepal.

and weed is not a drug.  it's medicine from good ol' mother nature.

hm, i have heard that weed only gives you a high feeling cuz it causes you to breath slower, therefore, cutting off the oxygen flow into your brain... heck, why spend the time when you can get that feeling by just... hanging yourself or stopping breathing or... heck, a bit of BDSM...
