"Art of War" on the History Channel
Hey, all! You might want to check your local cable listings, but this Saturday, May 9th, at 5pm, the History Channel is airing DY's "Art of War." It's 2 hrs long....catch it and then we can use this thread to "critique" the show.
What: "Art of War"
Where: History Channel
When: Saturday, May 9th, 2009, @ 5pm PDT
Why: Cause DY and the rest of the EMC Monkeys are in it?
How: Just lucky, I guess!

Sounds like a plan.
Remember the (long ago) Jet chat where ppl couldn't get straight what time it started & M aka N got a bit sharpish on the topic? I enjoyed reading that. I'm usually in the middle of snarky exchanges but that time I wasn't, I was lurking to see exactly when it was gonna be EST haha.
So 8pm EST for The Art of War, right?
Lol

DY got a lot of screen time. I recorded it and I'm gonna be recording that "How Bruce Lee Changed the World" thing that's gonna be on next week. Then the dvd will go to DY.

I've given up harassing him about being careful, ladies. Maybe one of you can talk some sense into him...
If you were marketing socks, cheesecakes, t-shirts, puppies... Dunno the first thing about marketing a film
But AnD
does
have people who do cuz they've done it! Lesseeeee... who to grill... Lumina Series, CBFresh, Seamus Walsh...
Mebbee if you gave us someplace to start?

Congrats to all on the completion!! Ppl went to the hospital? No serious injuries I hope.
I bet you're learning a bunch with each thing you do. As you yourself would be the first to admit, you've got a lot of charm.
... I hope the marketing strategy can make use of your great personality & way with the camera.
Sorry I don't have any specific ideas, complimenting you took it all out of me. I'm going back to jetli for awhile. He's easier to deal with, he just ignores us haha. Geez, I'm cracking myself up today.
Seriously, good luck! I have a feeling things are gonna be happening soon. : )

OH! Speaking of cool Hollywood types.... My (and dad's) friend Tom - the dude in charge of my house expansion project.... his daughter is a stunt women - doubled for Uma T. in Kill Bill2 (won the Taurus for the trailer scene fight!)
imdb
or
Monica Staggs
Anyway- Tom was just out in CA to visit her and she introduced him to Will Smith's stunt double! Tom said he is a real cool guy, super nice.

My whole family watched it. Boy-child was particularly interested. He kept asking who everyone was. He loved the idea that "we" knew people on tv and was quite thrilled every time Viet-Cong DY popped up on screen

Eh, I had fun picking everybody out.
Did find it strange that I was having trouble picking you out cuz I kept thinking, "there's Lumpy! No. That's him over there!" Guess I was right on all accounts
Also noticed that close up of DY hiding in the bushes as a Viet Cong was flipped (picture flipped horizontally).
You can still do whatever you were gonna do and we'll all happily watch it

Yeah, I noticed duplicate DJ's but not 50! I think it was your height and helmet (at a rakish angle!) that definately gave you away!
