The man is back to throwing his thing down and sharing with us.  (Yea us!)  Since he said in his post for Speechless (has anyone else kept TTL's page open listening to it.. no..moving on) that he wants to share thoughts on his songs as he posts them, I thought starting a thread for Terry's new ish would be appropriate.  AND MAYBE.. JUST MAYBE.. He'll feel comfortable enough to comment once or thrice.  MAYBE.  I'd say we don't bite, but I do and I don't wanna lie to a brother.  

Personally, I like Speechless (obviously) and I like the direction he's moving in.   The production quality is top notch obviously, but from beginning to end it's a great song.  Like I said in the thread comment you can chillax and groove or you can dance and get close.  It's sexy but not too sexy.  It's relaxing, but it doesn't put you to sleep.

I have to be honest, I had to listen to it a couple of times.   It's one of those songs that grow on you and get better each time.  It's descriptive enough for me to see a video.  I know TTL said he wrote it for a girl group, but I like it sung by a male.  I can see it sung by a boy band or just a male singer, maybe with a rap in the middle.  I don't know.

To plead the 5th is to refuse to answer a question or provide information so as not to incriminate oneself.

It is kinda. It's part of/linked to the 5th. On cop shows, etc. when they say, "you have the right to remain silent..." that's part of what is called a miranda warning. It's something police are required to say when they arrest someone.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. Do you understand these rights?"

This keeps people from saying anything to incriminate themselves before they've had the opportunity to be advised how bad an idea it is.  There's a wiki page on it here miranda warning is you wanna read the history on it.

Basically.  It's your right to keep your big fat trap shut and not help someone convict you for something may or may not have done.

I wouldn't mind having it on my ipod either.  I do like Spaceship..love the chorus, but Speechless is my favorite.

That sneak snuck a song in his flashplayer called And Also.  I really like it.  It's mellow and sexy.  I like the horn (I think it's a trumpet).

He's also posted Awkward, which is aptly named to say the lease.  That ish is hot.  I had to shake it off.  If our boy can talk it how he writes it, I'm sure he's got gold arches for a headboard.  "Another one served"  Woo!
