8 Diagram Pole and Heroes of the East share top spot for me where Gordon is concerned.

Well Gordon was at his prime when he did 8Diagram, check out his hot bod!! 2 of best of the best choreographed pole scenes in any wuxia movie by Sifu Director Lau Kar Leong and magnificently executed by Gordon (duel with Abbott before leaving temple to save Kara and the grand finale)

Gordon Liu is great in all of his films, but I really love his portrayal of the Emperor in "Cat vs. Rat"
Gordon gives a delicate and very funny performance. So fun to watch them have fun. Very very funny.

If you think he was good in Cat vs Rat (not much of him actually), have you checked out Dirty Ho.?? He's even better, so cheeky and charming.

I have just added "Dirty Ho" to my list of must get movies. "Cat vs. Rat" is a favorite because I love Fu Sheng most of all. Gordon was so sweet to him. Yay Gordon!

Hi guys, welcome back MIKxing4767. We've all been 'away' for a while from this forum haven't we.
I like Martial Club too especially the scene with 'testing the fabrics' and the grand finale.
MarsHarmony, you can also catch a different performance from Gordon in Godfather of Canton. Nice movie overall but personally, felt that movie was a little rushed. A little more thought on the development of his character in this movie working towards the finale would have been excellent.
Lastly, you guys gotta get yr hands on Treasure Hunt (Gordon costarring with Chow Yun Fatt). I discovered this little gem quite unexpectedly. Really feel-good movie.

I like 36 Chambers but I haven't seen that many of his films yet and am looking forward to sampling more.
