The reason I am somewhat dark in the "80s" pic is because I took a one day cruise from Miami to the Bahamas and I fell asleep on the deck of the ship.  When I woke up, I was literally toast.  But I looked really good once I got back to NY.

I got the impression the Shanghai apt was far less comfortable and nice than it appears in these pics.  That's a beautiful joint.
