No, i don`t know that word. What does it mean?

I thought those were Scandinavian good-luck kitchen witches!  We had a couple in our kitchen when we were growing up...must have worked because I'm still here!   :

Soooo you're from Serbia...hmmm...i dont want to sound rude but i wanna ask why is it that the Croatians and the Serbians hate each other so much?? We had the Australian Open Tennis tournament not long ago and there was fights between the people...i dont get how there could be so much hate between two nations i mean there is no fights now right?? Why are people so hung up on the past...and why do people bring up their children to hate one another when the fights werent even in their time... i ask this because there is this guy at TAFE who reckons he has friends that are Serbian yet he goes on about how they are pigs and all that and he thinks that the only people that are anything in this world are the Croatians especially the Catholic ones...Im just curious thats all...i want to understand why one hates the other so much...it might make me understand why he is like he is...

Well thats kinnda complicated.

In the past there was a country called Yugoslavia. It was a country with a several states ( Like US has 52 states if i am not wrong). Slovenija, Croatija, Bosnia, Serbija, Macedonija and Montenegro. The great war separated there conturys. It was in the 90's.

Serbians dont hate Croatians. They hate us. Even when we were in the same country they deeply hated us. I dont know why exactly. They always considered us like pigs and things that are never supose to exist. They even teach their kids to hate Serbians.

Dont get me wrong. I am not protecting my country. I am just saying what i know and what ive learnd in history classes.

Serbia is country with good kinded people. An openminded country. We even have a lot of Croatian singers too. We juse accept everything and everyone. Everyone is welcomeed.

In Croatia there are no Serbian singers. The tourists are rare. If you speek Serbian in Croatia you are a potential target for bulling. We are just not welcome in this state.

You must ask your friend why he hates Serbians so much. Ask him what Serbians are like. If he goes on that we are pigs and he doesnt say anything. Then he doesnt know anything about Serbs. He just heard from someone that we are bad ( probably Croatian becayse he says that we are pigs and he likes Croatians).

I have relatives in australija. Nice country. But ive never got a chanse to go there.

The breakup of yugoslavia is closely related to the end of the Cold War at the end of the 80's.

when you can you should come to Australia...im sure you'd like it a lot...he he but be warned Sydney is expensive...lol...the other capital cities are a bit cheaper...
